I personally have been using Miqo for years and years. Not really since it came out but almost. I have used this in all forms of content. Savage raids for combat assist. Farming mats. You name it. I have never once had an indication that I was close to being banned. All of the tips provided above from the previous posts in this thread are really good as well. I have stayed away from large Fc’s if you plan on doing non stop botting though because people will question the activity if that makes sense. Otherwise – as long as you dont bring suspicion to yourself, SE themselves have never indicated that I was botting or have I been banned in the years I have used it.

Honestly – I am just glad I can support you all again and that the team is well. Hopefully what we contribute – even here from the states – helps ease some of the situation. To piggy back off of this – this is more for Lyfox as Ive been on this forum for a long time and long time supporter of Miqo.
I wonder if moving the “We do not accept payments during maintenance. READ THIS” section to the top of the landing page.
I work in IT myself and a lot of the times I have users that never do their own research – and as I went to the home page/landing page you have to scroll down (depending on your resolution of course) to even see the message.
In no way am I saying this is important to do. People SHOULD do research and make an effort before just asking out right to bypass info that is already there.
Given that the information is lower on the page – most people probably just go to the forum link because they dont see the “read this” since it is lower on the page and not initially showing. If that makes sense. Just an idea to try and keep from more headaches from people who dont make some kind of effort ya know.
As always – thank you to all the mods/devs for what you do with Miqo. Absolute legends.
I know a few people have mentioned “cheating” – I personally dont feel in this particular game, it is as bad as it might seem. If this application abused the game to the point where it directly effected others play experience – I probably wouldnt use it. But since all it is really doing in regards to the combat assistance – is just helping you do damage and what not and not effecting others gameplay.
Secondly, I have also seen people mentioning (which effects me also) is wrist injuries or conditions that without this application – would not have the opportunity to enjoy the content they want to enjoy.
I played drums in a metal band for 10 years, after enough blast beats, my wrists are shot and without MQ – I would never be able to do what I love to do in this game.
Basically there are a few skills that do not populate, but I am not 100% sure if that is by design so the player can make an individual choice to use it. Perfect example is RDM’s level 80 rotation does not use Scorch, the final huge potency skill in the combo. So that tends to lose a lot of dps if you arent watching it and using it manually.
Other jobs tend to do this but not all of them. Another example is DNC and BRD’s resource spending skills like DNC – Saber Dance and Flourish. For BRD its Apex Arrow. But again, I am unsure if this is by design or not.
For the majority of the jobs it works beautifully.
To piggy back on everyone’s comments – I am glad to see that everyone is enjoying this product as it shows that there will (hopefully) always been support for it to continue to develop. If I had expendable income I would most likely donate additionally to the support of Miqo. Maybe if I will the lottery lol.
Also on a side note for this adjustment I made to this, if you pre-select the summoning bell, Ive seen it have issues. Best way to get the perfect results is to stand next to the summoning bell, but dont select it, then run the scenario and then do not touch the keyboard or mouse until its complete.
So for my original issue, I had to restart my PC – and started tinkering with allowing downloads without prompting, and that didnt work. However…for some random reason, I attempted to load the 1.3.28.1 Alpha version – entered my catnip license because it was asking for it – once accepted, i attempted to download the .exe for the newest version on the website and it allowed it to be ran.
I myself work in IT and I gotta say that was one of the weirdest things to deal with after checking the usual settings and such.
What worked for me may not work for you but it did work, maybe give it a try if you are in the same situation and see if it helps. Thanks Miqo and the community for the assistance.
