Heh, you got me there for an instant. Give that to you.
That’s basically how the ffxiv market works. If you want to earn gil, there is no magic trick for it. You have to watch the market, keep an eye on what’s currently demanded and sell that while Miqo only helps you with the process of getting the items you want to sell.

September 14, 2017 at 12:55 am in reply to: Can Miqo run in the back without interrupting other programs? #5274Yes you can. It works perfectly fine, because it doesn’t simulate you actually pressing a key, but rather sends the FF14 process the information of said pressed key at said time, if I understood this correctly. Nevertheless: I play Diablo 3 and Warframe while Miqo is gathering ephermal nodes for me at the same time.
Agreeing with Orctastic. There are a lot of awesome ways to make money. If you search for it: I made a scenario for gathering ephermal nodes from stormblood with miner and botanist. That thing gathers you all the ephermals for those classes and reducing them via aetherial reduction yields aethersands which can be sold for a shitton in comparison. One run yielded me around 1,5m worth of aethersands on my server.
Too bad. I only got a 144Hz monitor so I can’t set it to 30 fps ingame. Square should really look into this and try to make that jump themselves. I’ve been trying to make it for 10 hours in total now and it seems to be impossible. Farthest point I reached so far was the outermost corner of the big tanning rack and my char starts glitching down the rack instantly locked in the jumping animation until he reaches the ground -_-
Does this mean others can see you use the 3D Radar? or is it just a warning because you can see stuff others cant?
No, they can’t but it’s a warning not to do stupid stuff like saying “Hey, don’t open that chest. There’s a mimic/bomb inside!” or “Be careful, there are traps there, there and there *placing waymarks*”. Other people might not like the fact that you are using cheat tools (which radar is one) and report you. GMs are ruthless when it comes to things like these. I even got myself a 72 hours ban without a warning just for farming MGP with the bot unattended overnight on the make it rain event.
August 24, 2017 at 7:52 am in reply to: [Scenario] SB Miner/Botanist Aethersand Ephermal Nodes #5143Yup, that happens to me too, especially with a node at Doman Yellow in the Azim Steppe and I have no clue why. That’s why I wrote that you mustn’t let it run unattended. At that point just gather that node manually and click next in miqobot and everything should be running totally fine afterwards. If anyone has a clue why it gets stuck at that point I appreaciate the solution.
August 23, 2017 at 6:59 am in reply to: [Scenario] SB Miner/Botanist Aethersand Ephermal Nodes #5126One question. the keybind is (ctrl+alt+1, 1.5) what is the 1.5?
That’s the keypress delay. Has nothing to do with hotbars. It’s just a safety measure that miqo doesn’t press the key when it’s not pressable 😉
It does not work for me. It gets the first node right, then the order goes wrong and it it mines crystals on the ephemeral nodes.
Huh? That’s totally weird. Lemme reconstruct your situation. With my scenario miqo should first direct you to the ephermal node, gather the item as collectible, then fly to the first pair of non-ephermal nodes, gather the crystals, then fly to the second pair of non-ephermal nodes, gather crystals there, then to the third pair of nodes and gather crystals there before it returns to the ephermal node and goes for collectibles again.
There are 2 reasons I could imagine why it didn’t work for you:
1. When you returned you didn’t have 650+ gp. In that case it doesn’t do the collectible rotation but just gathers the item normally since it doesn’t have enough total gp for the rotation. I doubt this is the case though since then it wouldn’t gather crystals.
2. I guess this happened: This scenario strictly follows the script I’ve written above. If you gathered some of the normal nodes around the ephermal node you risk messing up the script, since it forces to gather 6 non-ephermal nodes inbetween ephermal-respawns and one node isn’t available it goes to the ephermal and tries gathering the crystals there. When you start gathering from an ephermal node all 6 nodes around it shouldn’t be touched and available. Keep that in mind.
On which item did it happen? When I tested it some time ago I had some issues with the Torreya branch node since some of the non-ephermals spawn pretty far apart from each other.
I doubt Miqo can effectively do that. You can write a scenario that goes to the board and sends the correct keybinds, but I think that’s all it can do.
For my FC I’m camping in front of the house board before each patch and I wrote a small Macro for MacroX that repeatedly tries to log me into the game, which I will run 2 hours before the official server opening, so I’m logged in the second it’s possible in case you can log in before the maintenance is officially over (often you can log in some time before the announced end time of the maintenance) and instantly buy the house I want. Plus, I’m on a low pop server, my internet connection is a high-speed 400Mbit/s connection and I’m lowering the game resolution/graphics to minimum for that moment so I think my chances are pretty good.
You know you can also get Dusklight Aethersands from Doman Yellow (Botanist) and Almandine (Miner) too and it’s already possible to gather those as collectibles for aetherial reduction via the scenario scripting engine? In fact I’m currently working on a scenario that gathers all ephermal nodes for aethersands and it’s almost ready.
