I have a quick question about Assists Mode. When it’s released will it be compatible with PVP?
I am 100% sure it will not be compatible with PvP because Miqobot doesn’t want their bot to work with PvP for 2 reasons:
1. It would be far too dangerous to use a bot in a mode so crowded with real players
2. It is unfair against other players, because no one can perform as good as a fully finished Miqobot, which would lead to frustration for other players
All of that is against the moral code Miqo seems to have and it would also bring too much attention towards Miqo, which the devs here don’t want.
@nelo: Nope, Miqo has already stated in this topic and other topics several times, that there is no ETA.
If I would give you an estimated ETA based on the release of previous features I would say it might take somewhere between 2 weeks best case scenario and 3 months worst case scenario, until the feature is released.
@akula: As it was pointed out, there are a few methods, to completely fix that inventory-filling problem:
First of all, some people already made scenarios, that will automatically walk your character out of the squadron room every 3 runs and turn in all the green and pink dungeon loot (which is pretty handy, since it will recover a huge chunk of the GC seals you spend on the squad dungeons).
Then, there is already another addition for those scenarios, that will make them desynth all other items (the white ones which can’t be turned in). All of them are of level 1 desynth level, if I’m not mistaken, so you need zero desynth level to desynth them and the whole problem of your inventory being overstuffed is solved.
All job rotations are being developed with equal priorities.
Assist Mode will allow you to use Miqobot’s combat system in any location, but this is still an early beta release so please don’t expect it to support level 70 rotations just yet.Well, yeah. I wasn’t actually talking about priority.
I was just assuming, that DRG would be finished quicker, than other jobs, since as someone working on the Cactbot plugin for ACT (more specifically the raidboss and jobs module), I’ve experienced, that certain jobs like for example MCH are pretty tricky to handle at level 70, since certain things like for example the heat gauge are nowhere found within any logs ffxiv spits out.
I had to crack my mind about that until I’ve come up with a solution: Mathematically adding and subtracting heat via a simulated heat gauge within the plugin itself, based on skills used, instead of trying to rely on information given by the client itself.
DRG on the other hand has none of that stuff. There’s actually nothing you need to be aware of. It’s nothing more than brainlessly repeating a set-in-stone rotation and nothing more x)October 17, 2018 at 6:16 am in reply to: Reason for not leaving your bot on for a week when sleeping. #9083Exactly what I was thinkgin Lol Why would you put a busy sign up if you’re actively “playing” the game. The minute I see a player gathering/crafting with a busy sign I go “Yep there’s a bot over there”.
People have different reasons for that. I for instance always use the Busy status, when I’m organically playing and doing some farming stuff, because of annoying FC members, who keep talking to me and asking me to do some stuff, as I’m the FC leader.
Uh… is there actually a standalone 32-bit download for ACT? Because on the ACT page I couldn’t find one, besides the normal ACT installer. The “Advanced Combat Tracker.exe” usually is in fact the 64-bit version, while the 32-bit version is actually the “ACTx86.exe” which you can find in your ACT folder.
Heh! I am actually one of the people actually working on Cactbot 😀
it’s been around for a year now I guess and has been updated to include timelines for every action every boss uses
Yes, for every boss starting from Stormblood. There are timelines for most Heavensward bosses and raids, but the triggers aren’t done, since that content isn’t done anymore, except for a few unsynced farm groups, meaning that in those raids/trials there are no Popup-Texts/TTS-Callouts.
However, I just want to add: Cactbot is the most updated ACT plugin on all of Github. It’s basically on #1 most recently updated on github, almost all the time, when you search for ffxiv on that site.
Also, the name might be confusing, but Cactbot is not really a “Bot” like Miqobot. It’s simply an expansion on the functions ACT provides in an extremely neat fashion (Automated Callouts + Boss Timelines, a Killfeed Window, extra Job Gauges [unfinished], an interactive Eureka map and parsers).I don’t understand, why anyone still doubts Miqobot. Just as an example:
I have 1668 Craftsmanship, 1659 Control and 482 CP without buff food or the cp pot on my culinarian (no specialist). Just this morning I let Miqo craft 60x Shakshouka (so 180 items in total) without buff food or the pot only out of NQ materials. The settings I was using were CP 4:1, Ingenuity and Manipulation ticked on and the rest as default.
Only 2 crafts turned out NQ, so now I have 174 Shakshouka HQ and 6 Shakshouka NQ.

I don’t even know, what I would do without Miqo in terms of crafting anymore. Just wasted around 3 million gil, trying to craft a nightsteel frying pan for my culinarian, breaking 2 and crafting one NQ because I was using the wrong macro, while Miqo could have simply calculated all stuff itself >_>
