There’s a 3rd party Dalamud plugin called Saucy that is pretty much a fully fledged triple triad bot with all the features anyone could ask for (except pvp), so even if they didn’t live in a war zone at the moment there’d no reason for Miqobot to develop a Triple Triad feature anymore, since there’s already a free and perfectly functional alternative out there.

That plugin has inbuilt statistics that records your winrate, cards earned, MGP value of cards, raw earned MGP and a few more things. Based off the data of other players on the plugin’s Discord (data from several thousand rounds of Triple Triad), except for two outliers Triple Triad will always earn you less MGP than with Miqobot at the minigames.

Those two outliers are the Triple Triad NPCs Vorsaile Heuloix in New Gridania, and the Indolent Imperial in Mor Dhona, but they also have their problems:
    – Vorsaile has the problem that he’s in the middle of a starter city full of players, in one of the most exposed areas of the entire city (the Grand Company board).
    – The I.Imperial has the problem that winning against him is way more inconsistent. I have every card in the game, and the best Triadbuddy could calculate was a deck with a 87.5% winning chance. The fact that his rules also change every now and then makes matters even worse. Also, he’s in the open world, so players can still report you if you’re being suspicious, botting there for hours and hours on end.

With that data here’s the MGP per hour results:
    Vorsaile Heuloix: ~55.000 MGP/hour
    Indolent Imperial: ~48.000 MGP MGP/hour
Gold Saucer Minigames with Miqobot: ~36.000 MGP/hour
    Any other opponent: <33.000 MGP/hour

Here's my data on Vorsaile Heuloix alone:

Keep in mind that I have every TT card in the game, so I can make the perfect deck against Vorsaile.

Please, for the sake of consistency, do not post Grids, Scenarios and Presets in the Discussion forum, but the appropriate Grids & Presets forum.

I moved the thread, but please keep this in mind. We want stuff organized ๐Ÿ™‚

Nice scenario, but protip: When you export a scenario you don’t need to export the grid separately. Exporting a scenario will also export all the grids and presets that are used inside of it iirc.

What you are talking about is a Dalamud plugin called Boss Mod, made by awgil on github.
That’s the plugin that creates a little extra Minimap which displays mechanics (including invisible ones).

If you’re unsure about melee range, there’s a Dalamud plugin called Resonant (an unofficial 3rd party plugin) that displays both the max melee range, as well as the max melee skill range (yes, that’s higher than max melee autoattack range).

    https://github.com/aulus-asina/resonant

Maybe that helps you make better use of Miqo’s combat assist as a Dragoon ๐Ÿ™‚

@nowlflr I completely forgot that reWASD has a macro addon. I only used it to remap my back buttons of my XBox Elite controller so far. If you say it’s that good I’ll try that out and maybe buy it. Thanks for the advice.

Miqobot’s stance on PvP has always been that PvP is a red flag, and that they don’t want to implement any kind of PvP feature.
It creates a disproportionate amount of unwanted attention, because botting in PvP directly influences other players’ gameplay.

Because of this Miqobot has so far always rejected any kind of PvP requests, and that’s why Miqobot even has a built-in kill switch to cease any kind of functionality the moment you enter any PvP area, so no one can even McGyver some way of using Miqobot in PvP. That’s how much of a red flag PvP is.

When explaining their reasoning, the community here on the forums also always agreed, that implementing any kind of PvP botting would be an extremely bad idea. Miqobot has stated, that they might re-evaluate their stance on PvP features, if a very large amount of people requested it, but so far the interest in PvP feature has only been voiced by one or two people every couple of months. The majority of the community agrees, that they prefer Miqobot to draw as little attention as possible, and that the bot should excel at the things it’s already good at: Crafting, Gathering, PvE assist, and grinds like Gold Saucer.

If you want my personal opinion on this matter:
Miqobot will never ever implement any kind of PvP features, just for the sake of not drawing any unwanted attention.
So if you’re searching for a PvP bot, I personally think this is the wrong place to look for, now as well as in the future. There’s already a couple other PvP bots out there that do their job.

Honestly, I prefer the program MacroX for making simple key/mouse press macros for certain routines, because all the Logitech Macro stuff is always so janky.
It’s simple to use, free (you can’t buy the premium version anymore since it’s discontinued), and you can make pretty sophisticated routines with it. Doesn’t come even remotely close to the comfort of Miqobot, but as a better than nothing solution it works.

Since this topic has already been answered by Miqobot, and any further discussion won’t achieve anything but to potentially cause unnecessary conflict, I’m closing this topic.

Miqo doesnโ€™t support sandboxing last I checked. Could be wrong though.

It’s called multiboxing, and yes, Miqobot does support it. However, you need a separate license for every game client you wanna run at the same time.

Yes, there’s a Dalamud Plugin called Deep Dungeon Dex that does exactly what you described.

Other than this XIVLauncher plugin there’s nothing I know of that could help you additionally.

In my opinion it’s not hypocritical at all.
If someone is botting/hacking so obvious that I notice it (e.g. teleport hacks or multiboxers) I’ll report them.
If they’re using a Miqobot scenario that I’ve also used I’ll just smirk and do nothing.

Currently it’s not possible. This feature has been up for debate, and if I remember correctly this feature has been recently accepted as a planned feature, but it will take quite a while for it to be implemented, and implementation will only start after the war in Ukraine has ended + other features with higher priority (e.g. Spearfishing & job combat up to level 80 for new/reworked jobs) have been finished

    – Summoner has been completely reworked in Endwalker, and is now essentially an entirely new job
    – Monk has also been reworked a lot, so it’s mostly a new job

When a new job comes out, all Miqo implements at first is the basic 1-2-3 combo or the basic attack for casters (+ basic heal for healers). Nothing else will work. And since Monk has been reworked a lot it won’t work more than at the base level, so will Summoner and so will Reaper and so will Sage.

Because of the war in Ukraine the Miqobot Devs weren’t able to complete updating those jobs to Level 80 status, and it’s probably also not gonna happen until Russia stops attacking the country for good.
