Crystal/shards are tedious to gather but sell all day, everyday. Solid time investment and can be done at lower levels.
Culinarian is the overall best gil maker in my opinion. Think high tier foods and check the markets for preferred items.
Usually after a new patch, miner makes a fortune selling raw materials from new legendary nodes so it is essential to keep your gear melded close to cap (especially if it is not a patch where we are expecting new crafting/gathering gear). You will want to be able to start grabbing new materials asap. Prices will drop much lower over time but they sell consistently and are good income. If you can synth them into the crafted versions of whatever the raw mats make, expect between 40k-80k per item (estimate as this depends on your server economy).
Gear is the next best selling. WVR, BSM, ARM, LTW. Take your pick. Once again, great if you can create the crafted gears while the market is hot after patch but still a solid choice for some time after.
Furniture is a great option as well with ishgard housing coming.
All in all, lots of ways to make gil. Just pay attention to market trends and invest some time into doing the research. Any class can make decent gil and you should really work towards capping them all at lvl80 if you want to reduce overhead from outsourcing materials and truly become self sufficient. Honestly, I only ever buy crystals. Small cost for time savings and time spent towards making profits. GL to you!
I have been using miqo since before crafting solver was a thing. From gathering to crafting, I have never had any issues or raised suspicions from anyone. A few tips: make sure to test any gathering grids you create thoroughly. I always make my own grids, if I borrow one from the forum it is heavily edited before I actually put it into play. Watch and observe to make sure the movements look logical and human.
When crafting, always go in doors to a private apartment or house that is locked. Miqo is a goddess when it comes to the crafting solver. She is efficient and thorough down to the last drop of cp. She makes use of all the skills including observe which may draw curiosity from bystanders. Especially if your ability delay is short and she is adapting on the fly (rapid synth causes this often on high level crafts). I can often go shower or wander off for hours if I work from my apartment (do so at your own risk!).
Lastly, if you must be away you can always use something like chrome remote desktop to log in and check on things from your phone or another pc. I often do this while I am at work or grocery shopping. Very helpful if you like to micro manage your marketboard inventory like myself. Good luck!
Edit: Don’t afk on gold saucer mini games. Way too many eyes around there and people will interact with you.

I have not tried the new script but if the gathering rotation has not changed I may run into this same issue. This is the log output for beech branches. So far I have only been able to duplicate this on botanist. Miqo attempts to spam skills she should not which results in error messages. Not sure if this is the result of two impulsive trees triggering at once or something different. GP and keybinds are fine though.

(10:34:19 PM) (SCENARIO) Chapter 9 complete.First off, let me start by saying great job and this script is amazing. I did however have a question about the collectable rotation. After reviewing it everything seems fine but occassionally miqo will say there was an error and follow this up with an appraisal that take the item over its wear to 40/30. Have you encountered anything like this? I will give a proper screenshot with the error this evening when I run it after work. I apologize as its late and I am too burnt out to trouble shoot at this exact moment.
Kujah perhaps someone else has a better work around but what works for me is placing a waypoint between to possible gathering nodes. I then instruct miqo to fly to that node and gatherTouch(). She automatically detects which one is closer/spawned and will go for it because both are in range that way.
