You gotta know what you wanna do with it. Personally, I find this particular bot to be perfect for crafting and gathering because it does what it needs to do, and nothing more. It has a light footprint on CPU and RAM usage, next to no FPS hit, and a fairly robust scenario system. It’s version of combat routines, known as combat assist, is perfectly competent for basic content and on some jobs, is almost indistinguishable from my own results. I’ve managed to clear E9S-E11S using it’s DNC and BRD assist and with my ilevel 525 gear, I managed a lot of blue parses. It isn’t perfect, and some parts of it requires knowing the encounter so you know when to turn it off for specific things, like keeping cooldowns available when a boss disappears and such. As far as leveling goes, it’s only capable of auto-running Trusts and Squadrons, and it isn’t really useful for progressing MSQ outside of combat assist.
Ninja is passable for normal dungeons, but endgame raiding it’s definitely not even close to performing well. With that said, she’s really good at making sure she keeps up on buffs and debuffs, which is one of my biggest downfalls.
Summoner is much the same, and like aeva said, she simply doesn’t know what to do with FBT. It’s a shame, because its the most mobile phase of our kit and I feel like she would shine with it.
Warrior is pretty much like every tank, it can grab and keep aggro but it isn’t effective at DPS or buff management. It’s okay for dungeons though.
Scholar isn’t great, but her DPS rotation is about as perfect as it can get. She prioritizes keeping stacks for Energy Drain and tends to cast a lot of non-instant heals unless it’s an emergency. She also doesn’t have the best logic regarding Indom, and she’ll never use Recitation, Soil, or any fairy skills. She’s fine for lower level dungeons of course, but she still doesn’t use fairy skills. Luckily those are pretty easy to weave in, so it’s not too much of a deal, but this is definitely a job I would use manually.
BLU support is minimal. It used to perform one specific combo and that was it, but I’m not sure about its current state to be honest.
The bot isn’t specifically equipped to level on its own without first having unlocked Squadron dungeons, which takes a bit to unlock. About all you can do early on is level gathering classes and using the assist function to have it on the guns while you take in the sights. Speaking frankly, I would recommend that you get to 50 on your own first so you could have a clear idea what you want to achieve with the bot.
So Miqo keeps switching each type of fairy during combat. At first I thought it was a keybinding issue with the fairy’s abilities, but upon adding them back nothing changed. She otherwise acts as normal, aside from allowing party members get a little close for comfort with their HP drops, usually due to “random” fairy resummoning. How can I fix this?
July 6, 2017 at 9:36 pm in reply to: [Scenario] RED SCRIPT & 60-70 EXP FARMING (Completely hands free!!) #4244I don’t quite have the gil on hand for a fully melded Ironworks HQ set, so is there a guideline of the stats I should aim for to have this work more frequently? Botanist and miner are both at 61 with botanist at 669/678 and miner at 649/658. (Both have over 600 GP) I know I could try to get my stats higher, but if I had a clear goal I could plan it out better. Thanks.
