It’s one method, however I would probably recommend leveling up your gathers first and collecting the materials you need for your crafters to level up. As for using the scripts, they work great for gathering. You may want to tweak them so it won’t be obvious that your using a bot. As for crafting, I it’s ok. I find Miqobot’s solutions to crafting an item a little confusing sometimes and usually I make my own macros to craft with. I say this having the experience of of having leveled all my crafting and gathering since the early days of 2.0

While I haven’t been in the game yet, a friend of mine has stated that the difficulty of the new recipes has NOT changed from the last set of rankings. Yes there are new items that will have to be gathered from the Diadem. Having achieved “saint” on the last round of rankings, be prepared for some long days. I found it best to scour the market boards and buy the mats needed for your crafting. Have plenty of food and Syrup ready as well. Don’t simply try to get into the top 12, you need to aim for as high as yo can. There were numerous people last time that sandbagged their turn-ins until the last day so no one can see that they are working on it. I can verify this as once person beat me that wasn’t even on the list the day before then showed up the next day with over 1 million points. Lastly, I did not use Miqo for the crafting. I worked on a rotation that would yield HQ about 75-80 percent of the time and it because it was my own rotation, I was better able to time the reapplication of food and syrup in a more timely manner.

90% of my use is for Combat Assist. I would say another10% for gathering. I have tried using it for crafting and find it to be to unreliable for achieving HQ crafts. As a level 80 omnicrafter, anything lvl 70 and below I can HQ with two simple key presses, yet Miqo would rather try and figure out some convoluted rotation. I feel it also relies too much on procs for trying to achieve HQ on higher level crafts. Any serious crafter does not rely of procs to achieve HQ for their crafts. We simply see it as a bonus.

Combat assist works great for Machinist. I have never had a problem with it for this class. I have even been able to do current savage content using assist with this class.

I’ve been using for about a year now and I find it very useful. I use the combat assist while running dungeons and savage content and my parsing numbers are constantly at the top of the party. I’ll use the fishing module when I’m need to gather a specific fish for some crafting or quest. I do use it for gathering, however I’m not leaving it unattended. It can do the job faster and removes the repetitiveness of gathering and I’m able to intervene if there is a problem. I have found Miqobot enhances my gameplay and does allow me to enjoy other aspects of the game that I normally would not get involved with.

While running The Diadem yesterday, I noted that Miqobot already is able to display the locations of mining and botanist nodes including the new lvl 80 weather based unspoiled nodes. I don’t think it would to be too difficult to start making grids for gathering. The optimal routes are going to be going clockwise for a miner and counterwise for botanist and make a large circle around the entire Diadem. Making grids now means they are ready when support is added.

It goes beyond just adding the additional skills, the solver also now needs to figure the new procs, Centered, Sturdy, and Pliant. I’ve been running a few tests with the solver and substituting a Prudent Touch or Observe when the solver gets stuck. I managed to reach 3600 collectability which is right where my own rotation has me reaching consisting right now.
My stats at the time are:

    2480 Craftsmanship
    2330 Control
    530 CP
HQ Blood Bouillabaisse +64 Control, +66 CP
HQ Cunning Craftsman Syrup +16 CP

I think the MCH works great. I recently parsed an run of E6 and the result would have placed me into the top 200 of documented runs. IT’s burst DPS at the start of a fight is strong enough, that I have ripped hate off of the tank. There are a few skills that still need to be implemented that could improve it, Tactician is the only one I usually have to manually trigger which I though was already implemented since it is a level 56 skill.
