Maybe we can agree on a Job wich will be fixed with priority f.e. Bard, who will probably have only slight changes so we can use the assist mode a Little earlier.
As much as I would love to see BRD ready first, BRD is not one of the job that will just get simple evolutions, while not being one completely remade, it’s part of the ones half redone.
While they skipped it entirely in PLL, you can still get something from the Job Trailer.
Troubadour was used before anything else, that BRD used Bloodletter twice without job gauge blinking for it, so no Bloodletter reset, and maybe they put their new Charged Action on an oGCD here, which would be awesome.
Refulgent Arrow is also used without having used Heavy Shot to proc it.
There’s of course new skills, an AoE poison one, maybe with DoT, another fancy line one we don’t know, and then things that seem didn’t changed, Empyreal Arrow and Pitch Perfect stacks on Minuet.Maybe the smartest thing would be to give up on another update for Miqobot in SB, and to let Miqo team start working from all skill actions that will get “leaked” next week.
The behaviour you are encountering, having 130+FPS while it feels like it is 60Hz (stuttering, etc.), is a well known one indeed.
It will only happen with a game run windowed.
And in majority of cases it happens when you run a game windowed on your main G-sync monitor, while you run on a secondary monitor with a different refresh rate another program that will use on that monitor the GPU sometimes, such as a web browser like Firefox for example.
When this happens, dragging the incriminated program to the main monitor fixes immediately the problem.
That being said I never seen that problem when only one monitor is used.
Also, with a G-sync monitor, when a game doesn’t have an accurate in-game FPS limiter, one that you can accurately set to a specific number, it’s highly recommenced to use an external FPS limiter.
The external FPS limiter, yes it will give you 1 FPS of input lag, but it will make your G-Sync work 100% of the time.In your case, with a 144Hz monitor, you want to cap it at 141 FPS (because it always fluctuate a bit), that way you sure you’ll never reach 144 FPS, and that G-sync will never stop working.
In case you’re sceptical, here is the source from the best tester of this technology, Blur Buster:
https://www.blurbusters.com/gsync/gsync101-input-lag-tests-and-settings/11/
So, if a game have an FPS limiter you can set to 141, use that one. If it is like FFXIV and the game doesn’t have such an accurate FPS limiter, use RTSS:

You sure that when you open Miqobot, you see your FPS dropping, and when you close it your FPS increase? You actually watched your FPS counter to underpin that?
Are you using a G-Sync monitor?
Is FFXIV full screen or windowed?
Are you putting Miqobot on a second monitor, where that monitor has a lower refresh rate, like 60 Hz?
In case you have a G-Sync monitor, are you using a FPS limiter like RTSS to prevent your screen from reaching 144 FPS which would disable G-Sync?Maybe what I’m gonna post is useless, or won’t save any time, or you guys prefer to develop entirely your own stuff for many good reasons, etc. but in case it could reveal itself useful in any way:
Someone trained a Neural Network AI for FFXIV Triple Triad
https://github.com/tkavner/TripleTriadZero
They might plan on doing the same for FFXIV Mahjong.
I’m sure this would have pop up on your radar sooner than later, but I’m just putting it here in the rare case it would be useful.

since the only benefit from Mahjong is MGP
There’s a bit more, there’s one Orchestrion Roll, 3 achievements and 2 titles.
But I’m just curious how hard would it be to adapt some existing open source Mahjong solvers to FFXIV Mahjong; this is not a request, it’s just out of curiosity.
Is Miqobot willing to accept volunteers to help test/develop the rotations?
No offence, but lots of people come here and propose their help, without realizing how skilled Miqobot team is, and how deep they went into the rabbit hole to create this bot.
They’re just the best to figure out mathematically what’s the most efficient. Often people don’t realize that for example a Squadron Dungeon is not a Grid and a Scenario, and that “rotations” are just not rotations at all, it’s a dynamic AI able to pick up the fight anywhere by analysing the whole situation, it’s nowhere like creating a skill sequence.
No one can help them, they stated many times that a candidate would have to be really talented, and even though, it would cost them months and months to train them and get them up to speed.
Best thing we can do, is leaving them working in peace, uninterrupted.
recipe(Bronze Ingot, 2)
Parameters:
name – name of recipe
number – [optional] number of recipe (as it appears in “Recipe Search” list)setCraftRecipe( name, number )
Craft next recipe by name.Function only remembers the name.
Actual recipe search will occur during crafting.
When search yields more than one recipe, specify the desired number as 2nd parameter.Function does not automatically translate recipe name into different languages. Name must be specified in the language of your game client.
Note: When chapter ends, setting is reset.
FFXIV take all players back to older content, all the time.
Players encounter that every day, they do their Roulettes, they’re taken back to older content. They work on their relic, they’re taken back to old content, etc.
Those old content, are as alive as new ones through several systems in predictable pattern releases that smartly use them to continue to populate them for new players and diversity.Players are more exposed to older loots than new ones.
It’s rewarding, you didn’t “play” long enough to know it. It was even rewarding when CUL could desynth rare fish you caught into rare floating minions, hell it was even rewarding to be the first craziest person to desynth an Ultimate weapon to show on Reddit what was hidden behind it.
I didn’t waste any time, I never went in those instances to level desynth, you just play the game and you get tons of those, all the time. Like I said, that feature was meant to have an alternative to turn in those gear to GC, so people stop to waste those loots.
You can only max out 3, picking BSM for weapons, GSM for accessories/weapons, and LTW for the rest of gear sets, and then you can desynth pretty much everything that drop.
The cap is raised several times at specific patch through the course of an expansion, and match the iLvl of drops. You just level them naturally, they made it so that you reach the cap right before they increase it again, by just playing the game normally, nothing fancy.
That feature is 5 year’s old now.
Now I wonder if I should raise this discussion on the official forum, hehe… as this feature looks really unbalanced as it is now.
The thing you missed by wanting to report that to official forums to tell them it’s unbalanced, is that normal players, including us here, didn’t spent any gils to reach max level of desynth, we just played the game.
You reach those levels naturally by desynthesising the part of stuff you don’t need from loots, and you get tons of those. That feature was implemented to counter that waste.
Profits from them are quite good every end of July of odd years, with a Legacy account you can store almost 72 millions of Shards/Cristals/Clusters (max retainers + FC).
Best thing right now is to buy them low, and sell them high around the end of July when everyone will need truck load of them.
One Legacy account can store more than 30 billions of value from them, that’s 250 years of Miqobot fee.

May 14, 2019 at 3:57 pm in reply to: Miqo Goals Until Shadowbringers (Casual Gameplay Discussion) #12665I also plan to start using Miqo for Palace of The Dead/Heaven on High solo runs. She’s really fantastic at stuns/silencing things before you can blink, so I want to see how far I can get through them.
Her stun and silence are so good, I’m wondering if later one we’ll be able to customize them for a specific encounter, to avoid having them on cooldown when they’re mandatory for a mechanic, such as A8S before nerf.
