    Holy necro post; but just a question. At level 61 with 150% boost I’m getting 396,799 EXP from Sohm Al. Unless I can’t do math, that’s about 54 runs to get level 60-71 for the next dungeon? Yet 71-80 is 22 runs. Is it really that long to level?

    From 60-71 you might consider just using the combat assist and running HoH. I found it way quicker back in the day, not sure if it’s still the best but it’s certainly worth considering unless your goal is 100% automation.

    I was on Dragoon yesterday and it seemed to be working fine.

    You could put it in a macro. By placing swift cast in a macro and using a different icon in the micon statement it will force miqo to not see switftcast anymore. Here’s an example.

    /micon “Basic Synthesis”
    /ac “Swiftcast”

    Then replace your swiftcast button with that. Miqo will think it’s a crafting command and will never use it during combat forcing you to use it yourself. You can do the same with any ability you prefer to not use.

    I understand you may be looking for something that’s completely automated; but I find the absolute fastest leveling from 61-71 is HoH using combat assist. This would require you to enter and move around on your own, but since you’re being grouped with other people that’s probably for the best. Hope this helps.

    Me personally I wouldn’t join it. I have privacy concerns in that regards. I wouldn’t want anyone to recognize my name and chance someone reporting me for using Miqo. Now, I know, you can create an alternate discord account, but I would prefer not to. I know you can change your name on an individual server basis but it’s not private enough and you still have to join that server before you can alter your nickname.

    I hear you, would be nice to have the notifications as stuff in discord since I’m always on it, but in this case I would rather just keep refreshing the Miqo forums a few times a day.

    Also, I’ve just been using the presets so far (reccomended, fastest). I see that I can create new but I don’t quite understand how that works. It made a .miqo file. Do I open that in a text editor?

    Welcome to the wonderful world that is Miqo. There is rarely ever a need to edit any text files. While on the crafting tab, just hit the ‘new’ button located near the bottom right. It will create ‘new solver’. Double click that to change the name. Make the selections on the right of that to whatever you want and click ‘overwrite’ and it will be saved.

    Check this out if you want to try your hand with some scenarios with varying degrees of success. 🙂

    As a side note: Here’s a couple tips I suggest.

    1. In-Game: Go to actions and traits from your character menu [p]
    Go to actions. Make sure every ability listed in there is on your action bars even if you haven’t learned it yet.
    Takes about 3 bars.

    2. In-Game: Go to Keybinds from the system menu.
    Select System, then scroll down to the bottom. Make sure every ‘Switch to Hotbar’ has a keybind.
    Example: Switch to hotbar 1 Ctrl+Shift+1 Assign them all.

    3. Lastly, make sure you’re caught up on all your crafting quests. If you have not done so, you could be missing abilities.

    I like the way Blink had all the ground waypoints as stealth. This area is teeming with monsters.

    I Took Blink’s grid and modified it a bit so there should be no more “Scanning” messages. Well no more standing around doing nothing with that message anyway. I added waypoints from the nearest teleport to make this grid Scenario Compatible. So if you start there you’ll get the message but miqo will fly you to the place you need to go.

    **Changes
    Added Beacons
    Added Fly points
    Removed ground connections so she will automatically fly up when completing a node instead of traveling across the area in stealth. (faster farming)
    added one more gathering point.
    Added comments.
    Reduced Max Branch

    Warning: Monsters in this area are at least level 61.
    Warning: A fate spawns somewhere around here (not sure if it’s through the grid but it shouldn’t be an issue.)

    The Fringes > Castrum Oriens > Dim World

    Slot 2: Persimmon
    Slot 5: Fire Crystal
    Slot 6: Persimmon Leaf
    Slot 7: Persimmon Log

    @blink383

    I hope you don’t mind, I used your grid and improved on it a bit. Keep up the good work and let me know if you decide to try this if there’s anything I missed.

    NOTE 1: As a level 66 Botanist I didn’t get any aggro. If you’re worried about aggro you might want to use Blink383’s original grid, it has stealth points.
    NOTE 2: Added path from Castrum Oriens for use with Scenarios. (Going to start doing that from now on)

    **Changes
    – Added Beacons.
    – Added a couple more waypoints
    – Removed Stealth, added ‘mount’
    – Changed Description
    – Added Path from Castrum Oriens

    The Fringes > Castrum Oriens
    Slot 3: Kudzu Root
    Slot 4: Kudzu Vine
    Slot 5: Fire Crystal
    SLot 6: Holy Basil

    @3pies Thank you for the grid. I hope you don’t mind but I improved on it a bit. Added comments and some beacons. The rest of the grid was fine the way it was.

    User Note: This is the grid for the level 66 Botany quest “Walking for Walker’s”

    Othard > The Ruby Sea > Onokoro
    Slot 2: Soybeans
    Slot 3: Cumin Seeds
    Slot 5: Water Crystal
    Slot 7: Walker’s Popoto

    Ok that worked. I’m not sure what’s different about your .txt and the one I made unless there’s some stray quote missing or something. Anyway… thanks, Lyfox.

    Decided to give this a try today but it did not work. I created a new preset called ‘fsh’ and saved it. Exited MiqoBot and opened the file. I found the desynthpreset.fsh line and replaced it with the text above then saved it. When I loaded MiqoBot it still has the preset ‘fsh’ but it’s blank.

    When I re-open presets.miqo everything I put in there is still there. Miqo just doesn’t seem to see it.

    I’m using Notepad++

    I also tried to save the preset in a txt file including the line ‘desynthpreset.fsh’ at the top, then import it using the ‘share’ button in the bot. It stated 1 preset successfully imported but it’s still blank.

    @miqobot @solok

    Any ideas?

    [Edit – Now I’m getting an error when I try to save anything to my desynth preset:

    Line 19708 (File “C:\….\miqobot_v1.2.633.exe”): Error: “ReDim” used without an array variable.

    I think I broke it.

    [Edit – Edit – I fixed Miqo by loading an older preset from AppData] Still not sure why I can’t get the above post to work though.

    @miqobot

    Would you by chance also be planning on allowing a ‘sort’ option for grids, scenarios, ‘Gather by Name’ and presets? I think that would help some too.
