    Hey @dc0ke

Check out this thread, I think the response I gave the OP would help you.

I keep getting an error saying I am unable to mount when using the gathering grids. I have a mount equipped on my hotbar and if I manually click it at the correct time, then the bot can work; but it will not mount on its own. Furthermore the entire bot seems to fail if it cannot mount. Please help!

Can you open your key bindings, click on ‘System’ and check to make sure you have keybindings for “Switch to Hotbar 1” through 10 assigned to something? I personally use Ctrl+Alt+Shift+1 through 0. That way I don’t hit them by accident while running dungeons and stuff.

While you’re there, also check to see if “Cycle through HUD Components (forward) & (Back) have keybinds. I personally use Ctrl+Alt+[
    and
    Ctrl+Alt+]
    for those.

I’m not sure if this will fix what you’re going through but it couldn’t hurt to try. There’s a chance Miqobot is unable to select the right hot bar. I had that happen with my Collectable Synthesis ability. Even though I had it on a hot bar that was displayed on my screen, Miqobot couldn’t get to it, but once I made sure that there was something set for change hot bars, it was able to reach it just fine.

Also, if you’re gathering in an area where you can fly and Miqobot can’t reach your mount button for some reason, the Presents may be causing it to stop. The waypoints in the presets sometimes call for ‘foot’ or ‘fly’ and if it’s a ‘fly’ and Miqobot can’t mount, maybe it’s causing it to stop.

I’m no expert so maybe someone else can verify this but in the mean time it wouldn’t hurt to check those keybinds.

Oh this is interesting. Progress is the obvious, I’m guessing shift is where on the track you tell your chocobo to go? Jump 0 for no and 1 for yes?

It is very lightweight I agree! I especially like that it scans your key binds so you don’t have to go through some complicated steps to get all the commands to work. And they have a lot more features they’re working on which will make it even more amazing! Best of all, no memory injections or code hacking! Just straight up no BS!

I’m going to guess it’s lag. I have had some issues with the game freezing up for a second from time to time so maybe it froze up in the race and I just didn’t notice. It happens when I’m tanking stuff too but it’s never long enough to cause a wipe or anything (unless it does it when I’m trying to pop hallowed ground).

I don’t know how to edit the files once it’s been created. I saw inside one and it looked Greek to me so I left them alone. I basically just record it, save it, then run it a few times then export using the ‘share’ feature.

Thank you SO much for taking a look at it. I’ll try yours out and tell you how it does on the rank 300. I still haven’t retired that chocobo even though it’s not perfect. I wanted to play with it for a while.

@miqobot is there a way to save “Gather By Name” entries into the Grid Presets? Example:

    Harvesting Birch
    Gather By Name

    Log
    map
    crystal

    Harvesting Dark Chestnut
    Gather By Name

    map
    [Dark Chestnut]
    log

Then we wouldn’t have to change it when we want to farm something else? Might come in handy when scenarios come out.

@lyfox I created a R-300 waypoints. I sometimes win, most the time come in 2-5 place, rarely ever come in last but it’s happened. Luck of the dice really.

Now on this one, I created it using a maxed rank chocobo with all his points spent. So the stats wouldn’t change when I’m creating the waypoints. Just like I mentioned though, sometimes he will just not jump for certain things.

The weirdest thing though, There’s one are where there’s a pad, chest, monster all in a row, he banked hard right to try to get the chest, but when I recorded it I told him to just stay left and ignore it all. Weird.

This is for sagoli road only but if you don’t mind taking a look I would appreciate it. No rush, I know it will require a Rating 300 to use.

I’m glad Gregye answered that because I honestly had no idea. I’ve only ever seen the Thunderbolts on my list but I only just recently started getting red scripts.

It does seem to work really well, This is the second week in a row that I’ve capped red scripts on the day of the reset.

As a side note, If you use Discord for your FC, you can get a bot called Kupo bot. Typing !resets gives you a count down of all the resets (among other nice features)

Hi Mochi, I was wondering if you could make a slight adjustment to the Birch Log farming path. At point 19 (X25.5 Y32.5 Z0.9) it gets stuck behind a tree. If you let it go, it will eventually work it’s way around the tree but looks very much like a stuck bot. XD

May I suggest after it lands on point 5, travel to (X24.6 Y32.6 Z0.9)? This will put you right in front of the node facing the other way, then Miqo will turn you around to hit it.

Hi Lyfox, thank you for the affirmation that I was doing it right. Upon further consideration I believe that what might be happening is that when I record the race, my chocobo levels up and gains more stats making him faster and more cunning. I think this may be why he’s sometimes missing but doesn’t explain why he just doesn’t jump at all sometimes. It also happens with some of the other presets I’ve downloaded from this forum but for the most part they work enough to finish the race often times in first place.

I deleted the wyapoints that I created when I first made this post but since then made another. Now that my chocobo is max rank and can’t earn any more points I want to re-record it and see what happens then If I’m still having jumping issues I’ll attach it so someone to look at.

    Thanks again.

The only downside I could see with this, is if people go to the bathroom, or grab a sandwich and the queue pops as soon as they walk away, everyone in the dungeon (unless it’s void ark they’ll just go without you) will have to wait for you to return. There’s a what, 15 min gap before they can kick you so you don’t have to worry about that.

I like the idea of having it, but would urge caution for people that do use it.

To be honest Miqo, I’ve never run into it. I can test it out and see what happens by putting a few abilities on a ‘control +’ keybind and see what happens when I scroll on the second monitor. In my opinion I would just recommend putting it up as a ‘known issue’. I can’t really see adding more resources just to avoid something like that. That’s up to you of course. Like I said, all anyone has to do is just their focus to something other then the game and they’re fine. Anyway, I’ll try it out and get back with you.

If you still experience the issue with the latest Miqobot, I would like to point out that windows 10 allows you to scroll webpages while having other applications in focus simply by hovering your mouse over the browser. Most noticeably when using dual monitors. So let’s say you have the game on monitor one, and everything else on monitor two. If you’re game is in ‘focus’ and you hover your mouse over your browser on monitor two then you’ll be able to scroll even though the game is in focus. Therefore if Miqobot uses the control key it will effect your browser because windows thinks you’re trying to use it there.

Best thing to do at that point is to click on the browser and let Miqobot play the game while your ‘focus’ is elsewhere and there shouldn’t be any conflicts.

Another thing: if you have the ‘always on top’ button selected, it is still possible for the game to be in focus even if Miqo is on top of it. So it’s easy to think miqo is in focus when it’s not.

This isn’t something that Miqo would have any control over. I’m not saying that this is the OP’s problem but if anyone has the new version and still experiences this behavior, they might want to consider what window they have in focus at the time.

    Hope this helps someone.

First, I would like to say itโ€™s rare to see a support as fast, attentive, and efficient as yours.

Miqobot is getting a reputation for being great with support!!
