Miqobot saves your settings and presets in these two files:
- settings.miqo
- presets.miqo
They are generated when you first start Miqobot and are automatically updated when you close Miqobot.
Do you see these files being created and updated next to your Miqobot application?
If not, then something is blocking her from saving your presets.
Please try the following solutions:- Try running Miqobot as Administrator.
- Try moving Miqobot to a different folder.
- Make sure that Miqobot has full write access to the folder she resides in.
- Make sure that your antivirus and firewall do not interfere with Miqobot.
The bot doesn’t adjust camera angles all the time for movement in combat and it causes some problems for conal aoe’s for WAR, SAM, and DRG where it doesn’t get all the adds or gets turned away completely.
Miqobot doesn’t use camera angles to align AoE abilities. In fact, she doesn’t calculate AoE alignment at all.
For AoE shape calculations, Miqobot uses the current position as point of origin and the current target as direction. So please make sure that Auto-Face Target setting is enabled.
You can find instructions on how to enable this setting in the [Beta] Combat thread.Auto-Face Target must be enabled.
Note. It’s located under System -> Character Configuration -> Control Settings -> Target -> Automatically face target when using action.
(and now checking the original post i see that the bot ONLY uses strife and not turn/walk XD)
Yes, this is correct.
Miqobot uses strife movement only. Turn actions are irrelevant due to the existence of Auto-Face Target.I can attest to WAR pulling only with tomahawk been spamming Sohm al 53 with sqaudron and although we are not dying he isnt oing the conal moves, just tomahawk and single targets.
Overpower is used only when combo is not in progress and there are 2+ targets directly in front of your character. Miqobot does not adjust character position for AoE shape alignment.
When resuming my PC from suspend, Miqo gives me a dialog box
Emergency!
I’ve been disconnected from the catnip server for several hours 🙁
Please verify your connection!
Maybe something happened?Clicking OK on this dialog box immediately kills her process.
Is there any chance a ‘retry’ button can be implemented on this dialog?
We are sorry, but this is not a warning dialog box.
This is a critical error message that informs you of the fatal problem that occured in Miqobot application. It means that the process has already crashed and there is nothing left to retry.
Miqobot requires a stable internet connection to function properly. Please do not leave Miqobot application running when suspending your PC.This feature will be a part of the future Gathering updates:
In fact, we were planning to work on this feature next. However, our community has decided that Gathering improvements must be postponed in favor of (Lv80) Trust Dungeon support.
Please refer to this thread for details: Level 80 Trust DungeonYes, you can use advanced features of Gather by Name to specify an item that should be the focus of the rotation.
{mythrite ore} mythrite ore crystal *
Multiple rotations for different items are not supported, because this usually leads to GP pool being constantly depleted and not effective for gathering hidden items.
Is it also possible to tell miqo to use Quick synthesis?
At the moment Miqobot does not support Quick Synthesis. It’s one of the improvements that will be implemented in the future.
In the meantime, you can use “Ignore Quality” setting of the Crafting Solver. It’s slower than Quick Synthesis but it achieves the same result.Open-world FATEs are not related to Ishgard Restoration. They will be a part of the Combat system, which is currently in early beta.
You can read about our progress in this thread: [Beta] CombatOur community assigned a low priority to FATE features due to inherent danger posed by open-world combat. Therefore we focus on implementing private instance activities and Assist Mode instead.
For additional information about open-world combat, please read this thread:
Asking the community: Thoughts on Open World Combat and User ProtectionThe next update with (Lv80) Trust Dungeon support is still in progress. It will be released in a few weeks.
In the meantime, we have prepared an intermediate upgrade with several hotfixes and minor improvements.
It will be available in a few days.
It will contain one experimental feature – Unsynced Garuda Extreme support. It will allow automated farming of tank mount achievements (A Tankless Job). Depending on the feedback regarding this feature, we will consider implementing additional trials and a (Lv61) dungeon for unsynced farming as well.Would you please clarify, why do you think that we didn’t?
Crafting overhaul was completed in Miqobot v1.3.34.
Gathering improvements were partly implemented in Miqobot v1.3.33 and Miqobot v1.3.35.However, we haven’t noticed any announcements in the latest Live Letter that would render these improvements unnecessary. The game is constantly evolving, so it’s completely natural that a major patch would introduce new content to be supported. But it doesn’t reduce the importance of the currently available feature pack.
We are sorry, but we can not identify your issue based on this description.
There can be several reasons why it happens. In most cases you can resolve the problem by looking at the message log in the Output Area.If you require additional assistance, please contact our Tech Support and we will do our best to help you:
