In reply to: Computer keeps deleting miqobot
I was able to resolve it. I had to allow it within the firewall settings
You’ll need to do so with each update to miqo, so long as your firewall/windows antivirus is active, as well so you’re aware

Standard/Technical step, I’m not sure if it does it with tech step, but with standard step I’ve seen it a couple times if it starts to cast as an enemy dies it doesn’t continue hitting steps. It should continue to hit the next steps and then the finish soon as it gets to the next enemy, even if no enemies are present it should run through the steps and then hit standard/technical finish with 1 second left to go so that the buff has a chance to keep rolling into the next enemy/trash pack since the skill is now already on cooldown anyway to not let buffs potential go to waste entirely.
This behavior is already implemented for Assist Mode.
In order to activate it, please enable “Heals and Buffs” setting. The crafting system right now has an option for you to put how many crafts it will do before it stops and repairs. I think if you add a similar system for Materia extract it would be nice.
This is already possible by the means of Scenario Engine.
But all right, we will consider adding more QoL options on Crafting tab as well.since the update miqobot only goes to the general vicinity of the waypoint
Yes, this is the default Miqobot behavior.
The algorithm was never designed to arrive at the exact XYZ point every time, because without code injections this is impossible. At low FPS, your character would be constantly spinning back and forth without ever stopping at the requested waypoint. In addition, the movement pattern would become extremely unnatural, because common players never arrive at the same XYZ coordinates.
Miqobot always targets the vicinity of the destination, but never the destination itself. Before the update my Miqobot went to exact Waypoint destinations (ALWAYS stopped right on top of the waypoint)
The most logical explanation is that this behavior was caused by a third-party interference, such as antivirus or firewall, which reduced Miqobot’s performance. Such interference may sometimes introduce a lag between Miqobot’s decision and the actual outcome in the game. For example, when she decided to release the movement button, your character would continue to run forward for a fraction of a second, which in turn would lead to stopping closer to the destination.
If your antivirus decided not to interefere with the new Miqobot version, the movement behavior is back to normal.is there anything i can do to bring my miqobot back to going to the exact waypoint location’s?
We are not sure that there is a way, besides forcing the external cause to interfere again or intentionally reducing FPS.
But even if you find one, other users will still experience the same issue with your scenarios.so far away that it won’t interact with the GC delivery NPC ( sometimes its close enough to work ) and i have the waypoint as close as possible
This, however, is a different problem entirely that indeed requires attention.
We can not change the default movement behavior due to reasons explained above, but we can introduce new tools for precise positioning that will be used only when they are required, like in the case you described. We will consider the possible solutions and will try to address this issue in one of the future versions. In the meantime, the only workaround we can suggest is the one you already mentioned – specifiying XYZ coordinates manually with respect to destination vicinity.
Please note that there is no need for text editors, because Scenario Engine can send Miqobot to any arbitrary location via xyz() function. You can select the NPC, look at his coordinates on Monitor tab, and use them as a guidance to what should be put in xyz() function.also on another note in “Sohm Al” when doing the dungeon with miqobot (squadron) i get stuck on this wall
This issue usually indicates that there is a keybind conflict in your game settings.
You can find the detailed explanation of this problem in our Keybinds and Icons Recognition guide. Our Tech Support can analyze your keybind mappings and identify the exact cause.

I had this problem once too, but that was just because I disabled my keybinds for strafe left/right. So I guessed that either those were disabled or maybe another action which has the same keybind in combination with maybe an ALT or SHIFT collides with the movement.
I’ll check that out, the movement keybinds are standard wasd with sd doing turn instead of strafe, strafe keybinds are shift a / shift d rather than a/d so that q and e can be used for hotbar spells – however this hasn’t been an issue before in the past and it’s always worked out fine without me needing to tweak any keybinds. I’ve leveled about 3-4 jobs to 80 from 30/50/60 without any problems using squads then proceeding into trusts. Either some function in the combat assist has a hiccup now that causes reactions to slow down significantly, or something in the radar that it’s not picking up the aoe marker correctly.
I just ran it on my main pc since my last response to test it out with rdm and it cleared holminster with no wipes. I tried another class on that computer with miqo though (dnc) and wiped there as well. I just can’t think of a reason that this start happening in the past few updates.
The aforementioned problem that the PC in question had bitdefender antivirus, which I had a lot of issues whitelisting miqo with due to temp files and file paths. I ended up just turning it off any time I run miqo now so there shouldn’t be interference there.

Nothing has changed, as I mentioned I’ve leveled stuff across a couple of accounts and this just started to be an issue recently. It works fine for some stuff then randomly stands in an aoe or line aoe. It takes 20ish attempts and if I’m lucky it downs the 1st boss in Holminster.
Edit: I’ve already checked over keybindings, I’ve disabled the antivirus on the PC running it in case it’s causing a problem with temp files like miqoradar etc etc…

This issue usually indicates that your antivirus has downloaded an update which introduced a new false positive bug.
Miqobot does not contain any algorithms that would close or delete the application without user consent.
Therefore it can only be caused by third party interference. Please read this thread for additional information: Miqo Deleted – Virus Detected?

Yes, this always happens with every new version release.
False Positive is a bug in antivirus, but since we have no affiliation with antivirus vendors and have no access to their source code we can not help them fix it.This is why there is a reminder in the main status thread:
A reminder about antiviruses.
Since this is a new version of Miqobot, it may be flagged by your antivirus as False Positive because its signatute is not yet known. As it is stated in our FAQ section, Miqobot is not a virus but antiviruses are usually trained to sic at anything that tries to interact with other programs. Miqobot will make no attempt to fight your antivirus.
Please remember to whitelist your Miqobot application after download. Thank you!
Even if you did not experience this problem before, it doesn’t mean that you never will. Antiviruses are updated often and each update has a chance to introduce a new false positive bug.
We highly recommend to report this behavior to your antivirus vendor.December 20, 2020 at 3:55 pm #25533Topic: Trojan:Win32/CryptInject!ml

I think the dnc rotation is off. It doesnt start with standard step and it will not use technical step.
It was working perfectly fine the before the patchThank you for reporting.
Unfortunately, we coudn’t reproduce your issue in our labs. There has been no changes to Dancer rotation, and during our testing all skills were executed in accordance to the algorithm. Please verify that all necessary abilities are located on visible hotbars and are accessible by keyboard. And make sure that your character is within the range of 15.
If this information doesn’t help, please contact our Tech Support for further investigation: https://miqobot.com/#supportMiqobot is performing much slower than before update for me. My MCH rotation move slowly and there’s large gap between moves. Before patch it was normal. Hope it get fix soon.
This issue usually indicates that there is a third-party application interfering with Miqobot application.
There is nothing to fix, because Miqobot algorithms work exactly the same way as before. It happens with new versions when your antivirus or firewall prevents Miqobot from performing normally.
If you require additional assistance, please contact our Tech Support: https://miqobot.com/#supportDecember 15, 2020 at 12:03 pm #25410Check that it isn’t blocked by your antivirus/firewall product. It needs access to the internet to verify your key.
Most likely culprit is the windows firewall not having opened for it. When you first run a program that asks for connection, a popup will show, if that is ignored, no access is given 🙂

If you’re willing to dig around in your system registry, you can track down the group policy flag to disable windefender. Also, it should auto-disable itself if you install another antivirus; I know my system did.
I managed to find a bunch of subkeys under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\PolicyManager\default\Defender
that looked relevant, and each key had a value namedRegKeyPathRedirect
and one namedRegValueNameRedirect
. By going toHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows Defender\Policy Manager
(the value ofRegKeyPathRedirect
) and setting a value with a name taken fromRegValueNameRedirect
to0
, I got windefender to stop doing things. Specifically,HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\PolicyManager\default\Defender\AllowRealtimeMonitoring
has the valueRegValueNameRedirect
set toAllowRealtimeMonitoring
, so I setAllowRealtimeMonitoring
to0
inHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows Defender\Policy Manager
, which I took from the value ofRegKeyPathRedirect
. After a reboot, windefender stopped trying to scan my system.Disclaimer: if you don’t know what you’re doing, don’t touch your registry. You might break some very important things. Also don’t run with no AV because that’ll fuck your system right up.

Chiming in on this. I work as a system admin so wanted to put this up.
Win10 applied a new update to how its built in antivirus works, and its going to hard flag and auto quarantine Miqobot until you exempt it. Prior to now it would simply warn you but this new update just flat out quarantines the program regards of if you say its ok or not, so you will need to either restore it via the protection history for WIN10 security or redownload it after you flag it.
Microsoft is trying to make their built in system more aggressive and this will prolly happen more in the future.
