In reply to: Miqobot flagged as Trojan virus
miqoradar.exe is a separate EXE-file which resides in your %temp%\miqobot\ directory.
It’s an essential part of Miqobot. Please understand that false positive is a bug in antivirus.
We have no affiliation with antivirus vendors, therefore we can not help them fix it. If your antivirus does not allow whitelisting for some reason, we recommend that you report this behaviour to their tech support.October 20, 2017 at 2:44 am #5517In reply to: Miqobot flagged as Trojan virus
Miqobot is not a virus.
Please read FAQ at our website carefully: https://miqobot.com/#faqFirst of all, verify that your antivirus software and firewall don’t interfere with Miqobot. Miqobot is not a virus, but antiviruses are usually trained to sic at anything that tries to interact with other programs. Even if you disable them, that might not help, because antiviruses leave background services behind. You might have to uninstall it.
Alternatively, you may try to white-list your Miqobot, but you’ll have to do that after every patch.

I agree with Lyfox that it sounds like McAfee is quarantining miqobot due to a false positive. You should be able to set an exception somewhere that will allow McAfee to ignore miqobot.
On a side note, McAfee is a really terrible antivirus and i would suggest using something else like kaspersky, malwarebytes premium, or eset if you have money, and windows defender, malwarebytes, or avast if you need one for free.

Yea seems like your antivirus messed up. If your presets were damaged you can find backups here: https://miqobot.com/forum/forums/topic/help-general/#backups

We have managed to reproduce your issue. The hotfix is already implemented in Miqobot v1.2.634.
Please redownload the latest version from our website, if you need it.Once again, the issue was caused by intervention into game memory of external program, such as antivirus or firewall. The interference resulted in extra lag during opening the Teleport window, and Miqobot could not read the correct data.
Only certain hardware was affected.July 21, 2017 at 7:42 am #4577In reply to: Stormblood – Upgrade Stage 1

Damn. Miqobot is definitely not shitting around. Every time I think about how SE is giving you a hard time and then I see how seriously you work around each and every of their tricky attempts to make bot’s life harder it makes me grin and rub my hands, laughing a little. As long as Square Enix doesn’t install some kind of anti-bot detector shield software specifically to block bots Miqobot will always work around every rock SE puts in their way (and that kind of software would cost them a lot of players, since those shield softwares mostly make anti-virus and anti-malware softwares run havoc. I remember this from Ragnarök Online where this always was a huge problem).
Discord:
Ah and because someone before suggested a Discord Server: I could set one up, nicely categorized, clean and organized, just for the community, for quick live question solving by the community itself. Miqobot doesn’t have to partake in that itself, since you guys have enough work to do, but if the rest of the community likes that idea I could make it happen, just for the community (any help from super active guys like Lyfox would of course be appreciated) 🙂July 18, 2017 at 5:57 pm #4508In reply to: Stormblood – Upgrade Stage 1
Gathering is kind of misbehaving even after the update, at least for me. I’m using a grid I’ve previously run for hours on end with no problems (Ai’s grid for Cobalt Ore). The bot will now only run in administrator mode, which isn’t really a big problem, but there’s now a huge delay in the overlay showing up on the screen.
Please restart your game. It should remove administrator mode and fix your issue.
When you install a new game patch, your launcher is elevated to administrator mode. If you don’t restart launcher after installation, the game will be elevated as well. Depending on your antivirus or firewall settings, Miqobot may require additional permissions in order to access the game in administrator mode.
Removing this mode is much faster than granting additional permissions.July 14, 2017 at 2:03 am #4423In reply to: Stormblood – Upgrade Stage 1
I dont know if this is linked to an update, but my bot recently cant craft. it keeps searching for the crafting log, opening it and closing it over and over again.
We have finally managed to reproduce your issue. It is confirmed that it was caused by intervention into game memory by an external program, such as antivirus or firewall.
The hotfix is already implemented. Just restart Miqobot and she will upgrade automatically.

Thank you for your answer very much!
We have managed to perfectly reproduce your issue. It is caused by a combination of two factors:- Slightly incorrect memory reading.
- Intervention into game memory by external program, such as antivirus or firewall.
The hotfix is already on the way and will not require any redownload.

Sorry – When I click monito there’s nothing there. I can switch between main and crafting but it’s just a blank white page.
I seem to have fixed the problem, if not only temporarily, by disabling both my firewall/antivirus (windows firewall/avast). It was running fine without any changes before… tonight however this does seem to have fixed my issue.
