Topic: skipBadWeather()
Hi all,
can someone tell me how the skipBadWeather() function is supposed to work in scenarios? I tried to figure it out, but it seems like I think into a wrong direction.
If I use something like this (example reduced to the lines which matter):
—
resetGoodWeather()
addGoodWeather(Thunder)
addGoodWeather(Thunderstorms)
[other stuff]
skipBadWeather()
fish(40)
repeatChapter(99)
—I would expect Miqo to take a break, skip the next line, or whatever. But all I get is this as a result:
—
(21:42:20) (SCENARIO) Started:
(21:42:20) ‘Namitaro’
(21:42:20) Chapter: 1
(21:42:26) Yay! I found some fish ^_^
(21:42:26) Uh-oh ‘Clouds (03)’. It’s a bad weather!
(21:42:26) WORK for: 00:01 (60 seconds)
(21:42:26) Fishing starting…
(21:42:26) Fishing for: 40 min
(21:42:29) (SCENARIO) Stopping…
(21:42:30) Well, you know, I don’t mind continuing it any time! 😉
(21:42:31) (SCENARIO) Stopped.
—What is my mistake here?
Thanks for an info!
I get a message when I start miqobot that reads
(WARNING) I was corrupted! Please:
1. DO NOT RUN two different versions of Miqobot at the same time.
2. WHITELIST Miqobot application in your antivirus and firewall.
3. RESTART Miqobot after this.So I went into my AV and Firewall, made sure to whitelist it and set exceptions. I noticed that my AV had blocked something in the AppData folder called miqoradar.exe so I also tried to add an exception for that as well, though I couldn’t find it in that folder. The only thing in there are two DLL files. So I deleted the folder, deleted the miqobot application, and redownloaded it and tried to run it again with all the exceptions still in place, it didn’t say it blocked the miqoradar.exe this time but I still don’t see the 3D Radar in game or that application in the folder. I’ve also tried going into the miqobot settings and checking both rendering options to see if either one would work with no luck. At this point I have no idea what could be going on.
Also just a quick aside, as far as I can tell everything else seems to work. Crafting solver works, minigames and chocobo racing work, scenarios work, fishing and gathering. I’ve tested every other part of the bot and it all seems to function appropriately, only the 3d radar seems off.

Topic: Fishing Problems
Hello, when I go fishing, some mistake happens:
(13:31:04) Hello! I am your Miqobot!
(13:31:04) Searching for a trial catnip…
(13:31:04) Oh no, we have run out of trial catnip! Do you have any catnip license?
(13:31:06) I found the game! Let’s play together! :3
(13:31:07) Fishing starting…
(13:31:07) Fishing for: 40 min
(13:31:07) Oops, was that a disconnection? >.<
(13:31:07) Guess I’ll need you to log me in again. <3I wanted to test to see if I buy it or not. Thank you.
I needed some blacklip oyster, so while fishing for some I made this scenario.
1 First off it will teleport you to Horizon
2 Then equip your fishing gear
3 Then take your mount to Vesper bay in front of the repair NPC
4 Repair your gear
5 Head to a random waypoint
6 stealth when you get up around the fishing area
7 equip Yumizuno bait (I prefer lures to real bait for prolonged fishing)
8 Miqo will hit the = key wait 2 seconds and hit it again
9 Fish for 60 minutes
10 repair with dark matter if you can
11 She’ll go to another random waypoint 3 time (so 3 hours of fishing)
12 then Miqo will go back to the repair NPC to fix your gear.
13 Then keep fishing for 3 hours and repeat 9999 times (3hours X 9999times = forever, lol)**Key notes – the = key is where I have the food I want Miqo to eat while fishing.
I’ve been doing a lot of fishing recently (trying to catch every big fish in the game) and I’ve noticed a few times that when I was fishing in a small window that I could get 2 or three different moochable fish. But only one of those fish would get me the big fish i was hunting. So, I was wondering is there a way (and I’m blind) or would it be possible to implement a way to tell Miqobot to only mooch a certain fish?
Since Miqobot knows what fish we catch. Could there be someway to have a option to enter the fish name and tick a “only mooch [manually enter fish name here]” box.
It’s not something I really noticed or tought about until now when fishing for fish with small mooch windows, like the Wootz Knfiefish Zenith. Since you can get goldfish and silverfish that mooch but you only want to mooch the silverfish.
