I didn’t get it on my first try either. It’s not the most optimal way, just the most convenient way to get as many points as possible I can think of using Miqobot which may or may not reach 10k. She happened to get me the mount and 10k+ points a few times later so I decided to share.

SO much this Lol Someone saying ” i just used miqo for the first time and it got my mount!” is so misleading haha sure miqo helped you get it but the real boss of ocean fishing is RNG. Most of the times if you dont get 3 spectral currents, you wont get the neccesary points to get the achievement.

I sure would love for miqo to be able to just go in there and score some mounts tho! Lol I’d be all over the 16k achievement title.

Hi There

I recently changed my PC and need to know which files I have to copy from Miqo on my old PC to the new one so I don’t have to import all the grids I had before and redo my fishing/gathering settings

I managed to get the mount and minion with help of Miqobot but this method still needs a player to monitor and make adjustments as necessary. Here’s what I did:

– Use only 1 kind of bait for each area.
Krill for The Southern Strait of Merlthor
Ragworm for The Northern Strait of Merlthor
Plump worm for Galadion Bay and Rhotano Sea
– Use “patience” fishing preset in Miqobot and check use cordials then start fishing.
– When you proc Fisher’s Intuition check “chum” then uncheck when the buff expires.
– During Spectral Currents, check “double hook” then uncheck when the buff expires.

If anyone has more tips for a better chance of getting more points feel free to add a comment.

I Havent tried it, but I cant imagine it going well. Ocean fishing requires a lot on-the-spot decisions for hooking/switching baits and dropping out of patience to maximize points. While miqo can use the right hooksets to land the different sized fish, I dont think she’ll drop out of patience and switch baits on the fly during spectral windows.

Just wondering if anyone has tried Miqo’s fishing with Ocean fishing and how did it go?

Would you please clarify your issue?
If you ask about Patience, it is used only at maximum GP in order to increase the number of possible Hooksets afterwards.

If this information still doesn’t help, then please give us more details about your issue. What skill exactly doesn’t proc and what are the conditions that you expect it to?

Some fishing skills dont seem to proc?, like with the hooks and etc. not sure if its just me tho

Patience is activated when “Powerful Hook” or “Precision Hook” is selected in Miqobot.
In addition, Patience is used only at maximum GP in order to increase the number of possible Hooksets afterwards.

Crafting Solver

We have managed to implement a bandage hotfix for the basic logic, but it’s extremely unstable.
Veneration is not supported.
Please do not attempt to craft any expensive recipes with this version.

During the next few weeks we will focus on the necessary upgrades for Crafting Solver and will try to make it compatible with 80+ content.

does anyone have a grid or scenario for fishing maneater clams thats willing to share? Would be greatly appreciated ^_^

Hello All,

I noticed there was already one for Ageflow, but I figured I’d add mine in as well. I modified grids that come with a fresh install of the Miqobot, but I renamed them so there shouldn’t be any DEBUG issues. I also made 2 different fishing presets, one for the Predator and one for the Lemonfish. Why Lemonfish you ask? It’s for a Leve turn-in so you can either use them/sell them/give them to your friends. That and needed another fishing spot so the fishies won’t sense something amiss!

OK! What it does –
Takes you to 3 fishing spots @ 30 minutes each for the Predator and collects any caught(above 400 which is all of them)
Ignores Small, Release NQ (Stormfish bastards! Need Surface Slap Devs! <3 ), sets Snagging, uses Cordials and Patients2
After all 3 spots have been fished, it takes you to 1 spot for the Lemonfish for 20 minuets.
Then it has the option to take you to Either Eulmore for repairs and reduction OR goes back to the Ondo Cups for Self repair and reduction(Default) and repeats all 5 times!
Defaulted to Self Repair, if you want Eulmore, just un-comment those lines in Chapter 3 and comment the self repair. Side note, this uses the default Eulmore Grid so you shouldn’t need anything special for it just make sure that Waypoint 13 is for the Repair NPC. If you need Eulmore Grid (for some odd reason) I’ll add it to this as well.

What it Needs from you –
BAIT! 😀
For the Predator, it has 2 bait options: Short Bill Minnow(default) or Squid Strip
If you want to use the Squid Strip, just un-comment that line and comment on the Short Bill Minnow in Chapter 1
Lemonfish bait is simply Robber Ball.
Also, the ability to Fly in those locations!

Just in case you don’t know what comment/un-comment is – I am referring to the // before the lines of text in the Scenarios. Remove them to un-comment functions and add them to comment. Commented lines are ignored by MiqoBot. Need them so she ignores the Notes!

Example:
// Note for YOU <– leave the // so Miqo ignores this line (comment)
//teleportIf(Eulmore) <– remove // to tell Miqo to run this function (un-comment)

That’s pretty much it~ Total Runtime per-repeat is about 2 hours. I’ve used this for a while now and have not had any issues. In fact it’s been running while I have been typing this :3

There are multiple grids with the name ‘preditor’ so miqo can’t find the right one. Either find it then change its name to something else then edit the scenario accordingly or delete all ‘preditor’ grids then re-download the said grid again.
