A question concerning early access… Once you buy it, you receive a 16-digit key – you enter it into official site, redeem your common 20-digit code, enter it into mogstation, download the patch, relogin and you can have fun in ShB content. Though, do you need any OTHER key to continue playing tomorrow? There are people who say that you have to enter some another key today, after 15:00 GMT… now I wonder where to get it %)
When you preorder Shadowbringers you get provided your pre order key, this key unlocks early access, and this key can be used to redeem your 20digit item key (for the earrings and the like). Now tomorrow on release, the site where you pre ordered should email you the actual game key which you have to activate Shadowbringers with.
I’d say the best is FATEs -> exchaning gemstones for mats -> selling them. Did a million just today (2 hours or so).
Any item that sells especially well?
Oh Ok then yeah. And Yes I agree with the mat/cost ratio, but eh, I like gil, what can I say.
Even so, the mats and drops you can sell in the first days, if not even hours easily gains you the raksha set back, people already bought HQ level items for 100k a stack, dungeon drops for 100k a piece, random gathering items for 10k each, you name it.
Wut? What server/dc is this? Because on mine, a single crafted i380 accesory runs you for around 300k.
Not gonna name it but I can say for certain because I did this not long ago. I bought a full set of rasksha ingredients (not even base ingredients, just exactly what you need to craft it and it took me 600k, a single piece of HQ raksha sells for 300k on the market which is ridiculous.
The problem is: you can’t reach ShB content (and its items) without having average ilvl of 360. This basically means you had to either complete MSQ up to 4.56 in advance, and then gather your stuff via raiding/Eureka+/genesis/market, or just go my way without wasting time/gil.
A full set of raksha is under 500k crafted…
Consider that you dont need a full set, you pay roughly 250k to not be days worth of content behind. So I was right.
You were right and you were wrong.
Yes, old quests award you with a coffer full of i360 now, but I was also right, that it is completely pointless, as the Shadowbringers main questline automatically awards you with even better gear right from the beginning every few quests. Heck, I even got better gear than my i400 best in slot gear, once I reached level 75 and I already got equal gear to Stormblood best in slot raid gear once I was level 72.
Exactly this, literally the first quest awards you 395 gear, which is equal to endgame tomestone gear, then they award you ilvl 400 gear shortly after.
As the title says, will we be getting trusts implemented for the combat runs?
They already said it will be implemented if it provides exp, better alternative to squadron runs perhaps.
I wish you all a great expansion day.
Already level 73 without prequesting and leving 🙂
The buffs to BRD are huge.

But, in case the answer is “no”, what’s the point to have gear from savage raids?
PvP, Status, iLvL locked content, solo clearing unsynced content, easier farming.

Oh and btw… did I get something wrong, or you have to pay $40 (US) or 45 euros (EU) for early access, w/o even collectable edition? PER ACCOUNT? o_O That’s kind of too much, compared to 9 euros for AAR and 16 for HW/SB…
The expansion is 35€ and includes Heavensward and Stormblood, so for all the game content there is you would pay 10€ for starter edition + 35€ from ShB. Thats 45€ for ALOT of content so really fair, early access is provided only if you preordered, the price stays the same, 35€.
You have no idea.
Some people go as far as calling in sick, hording food, pre finishing challenge logs, leves, alot of sidequests so they can rapid turn in, etc.
All stuff I find overkill since you have like a full month just to enjoy MSQ and zones.
