Check this post where the devs answered a similar request:
Stormblood Upgrade Stage 2Basically, each solved recipe is only valid for that specific combination of current charcter stats, recipe level and available skills. Change any of these (leveling up, different item, change stats by equipment or food) and the solution is invalid again. And each solution would occupy the same space on your hard drive as it would in RAM, which can get pretty big depending on your solving options (couple hundred megabytes for each solution).
That’s very unfortunate. I was about to let Miqo craft several hundreds of items over night, to level and spiritbond (and also stockpile said HQ items), and just before i was about to switch off the monitor, i saw her very quickly crafting a NQ item and took a closer look.
Doing a CS2 step myself kinda defeats the purpose of having bulk automation – do i have to supervise the hundreds of crafts and press CS2 myself every time or do i only have to do it on the first one, and the bot remembers the correct values for all subsequent crafts? Since i’m crafting hundreds of items, i have to use the scenario engine to craft them in bulks of 50 and then repair, otherwise all my equipment breaks before i’m done. Does it retain the “learned” corrected values then? Also, as i said i’m still leveling the class, so after like 40-50 crafts Miqo will level up and recalculate with new stats, and i won’t be there to do a manual CS2 again.
Would it help to uncheck “Progress first”, i.e. will it do progress last then? Calculation time doesn’t really matter much for my scenario.
Well even if you bot the big fishing, you’ll still have to wait days for the right time and weather and then get lucky.
Though the FFXIV devs did a LOT to mitigate the luck factors lately, like Mooch 2 making specific double mooches at a rare weather in a 6 minute time span a lot more, well, possible. And i don’t think Miqobot can watch out for the predator buffs you need (catch a certain amount of specific fish first) to catch some particular big fish.Hey, can i ask you to update the Crafting help thread? It’s quite outdated by now, still shows the 1:1 CP option and is missing all the optimization and AI settings.
If possible, it would also be great if you could consolidate all the extremely helpful statistical research you’ve done on crafting actions for lv60 crafting in HW and lv70 crafting in SB, and maybe even just info on crafting math in general into that help topic as well, so i (and others) don’t need to hunt them down all over the place whenever i want to look it up. It’s all very helpful to make informed decisions.
It’ll fail to clear sometimes when the timer is low and it gets unlucky with the hits, that’s normal. It’ll make it up with lucky hits and high doublings on some other tries on average. Sometimes the bot will only get like 300 on a round, sometimes it’ll get 800+.
I’ve experimented a bit, and for me i found it’s best to play like 10-12 rounds and double until 16 seconds left for Out on a Limb. Keeps the fail rate slightly lower than the default and still has a nice payout. I keep it on Titan difficulty for that game, since there’s more let than with the other game.
The Finer Miner i set to just 2-4 rounds and Morbol difficulty, since it’s not as reliable, i find. Morbol still gives it a decent chance to win, but it’s just there as a distraction so the bot doesn’t sit in front of the logging game for hours. Play until 4 ronds won.
IIRC, i make like >30k MGP per hour like that. Even more than that now that the new Squad Rewards give you the 2 hour buff to MGP earned!
Thanks to that, i got myself the Fenrir and the Cloud card.October 10, 2016 at 7:43 pm in reply to: [Beta] Crafting Solver for 60****, Gathering Rotations, Desynthesis #2245 -
