Hello,
I read the Miqobot Status post – any update on when the bot will be functional after the patch? It’s been 4 days.
New user here, found Miqobot and wanted to try it out, so I’m curious to know when you will accept addmissions again.

Last time it took over a month to fix from a patch of this magnitude they clarified they have a new member that will help them get it out faster and that is that is all that is known. This was a massive patch that changed alot so just be patient, maybe next week maybe a few weeks. Don’t forget where they reside.
Semi-functional at lv80: White Mage, Scholar, Paladin, Warrior, Dark Knight, Gunbreaker, Dragoon, Samurai, Reaper, Bard, Dancer, Black Mage, Red Mage

Some people on the forums have had short suspensions but that’s all. But for most part its undetectable, in all honesty I have only really heard of 3 things geting people suspended.
1. When you spend far too long in the diadem and multiple players report you, apparently a gm will contact you and if you are not there you will get suspended. I have never used bot in Diadem myself seems risky.
2. Using Golden Saucer games in your house for hours on end time I am unsure as to why.
3. Using the golden saucer games for too long at the golden saucer honestly I let my run even during Make it Rain over night and never had issues but there seems to be a time limite as no longer than 8 hours There also the issue of people using the game report you but in all honestly most the people on the top floor games are botters also.
You said you are just using it for crafting in your house where no one will see you.
You will be fine, for about 2 years now I have done heavy crafts over night during the day when I go to work or to workout and never had a issue, never had one for leaving a scenario running for a week gathering crystal/shard/cluster up to Dawntrail release.Lyfox did say something a while back that does help putting yourself on busy.
I have seen the same botters for years now always running to the same tree and cluster farm even way before I had a bot, and there are hundred in the Pagos map for the bunny farm, they don’t seem to suffer anything.

The 80 to 100 from Qitana Ravel is slow but doable. I work during the day and just leaving it going and again when I sleep which gains about 2-4 levels a day. Use the Dawntrail earring because it works for Qitana Ravel no matter your level and keep you character to using orange juice every hour or when you can. For my first two classes I just used the mass amount of refreshments I got my friends drinking mountain dew and have switched to any other exp food since I ran out.
I mainly use it for classes I have no real deep intention of playing like Paladin and Warrior as I prefer GNB and DRK too them.I am curious if those players who report AFK botters also report those idle AFKers in Limsa, because IMHO they’re even worse.
No, being AFK is not against the rules. What a weird thing to say.

I’ve been using the bot since well before EW and have never recieved anything like a ban or warning.
I also leave it running by itself for a few hours, during Make it Rain, Trust dungeons at night for gear for GC turn in and crystal grinding was able to feel up myself from Shard to Cluster and 4 other retainers before it went down.
However 1 thing I have noticed alot people say they get reported or banned for is diademMaybe I’m lucky or maybe I’m smart on where I farm, however I will say 1 thing to do that Lyfox has said more than once make sure to put yourself on /busy

Situation is pretty bad atm. Since the power plant in our region haven’t been restored after the last attack, we barely have any elecricity or internet. Usually it’s only 2 hours per day. So now we are very much focused on our surviving.

Nothing short of a Miracle they have been able to keep it going as long as they have since the War started.yeah I dont think the return is enough for the time it takes. I think I am better off just gardening them
Not sure what turns out to be the best gil per hour grind thoughYou are correct Wind, Water, Fire, and sometimes ICe shards are the only one that matter.
Wind is the most consistent followed by Fire but fire has been known to drop to 50 gold per and then back up to 200 on my server.The market board can be a cruel mistress.
Is selling shards even a good way of income anymore? Seem high risk for getting banned too.
Between which shard you sell you can net 1-2 million a day, and don’t needlessly scare the guy he won’t get banned for selling shards.

Sure, as long you are not doing it excessively to avoid being reported. Didn’t intend for being a scare, just be careful when it comes to open-world botting.
Sorry I was actually out of town and unable to anwser. I agree not to do exessively. I mean I’m not going to say don’t gather as much as you want but I would never do it in the same spot every day or night. But as stated by Lyfox a long time ago to always mark yourself as busy while doing it. There is only 1 spot I remeber being bad for it because a fate spawns there which comes with running across a few people time to time.

Have you been using rotation of Giving land and Twelve’s bounty? It gives you from 10 to 30 shards per one gathering attempt.
This, using these 2 you could max out your shard/crystals in about 3ish hours depending on where you are getting them
You best bet is to make sure you keep your character moving if he starts to move to the center force move him somewhere else.

I have been doing it for 2 years.
I’ve been doing it off and on I actually sleep during the day and work at night, so I let my go for several hour a day I just have it move to a diffrent game every 10 minutes and turned off sprint only 1 person seemed to recognize and that was my girlfriend and only because she knew I was asleep. There are some obvious bots though ones that never ever move.
I may have a ban coming or not, I dunno.In a year of using I have only been recognized twice and neither knew I was botting I had a old guild member ask what in Thanalan at one point because he’s a stalker when I was farming crystals.
