Each antivirus behaves differently. It may actually scan only the running executables while ignoring downloads. It may be not an antivirus exactly but something else. Anyway, there’s definitely an external program involved.
There’s a tool called Process Monitor: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/processmonitor.aspx
It can show you literally everything that happens on your computer, including info about who made that happen. It may look like a lot of chaos at first, but it’s very easy to setup. From the Menu Bar on top, select Filter -> Filter… (or press Ctrl+L). In this case we would need a filter like this:Path contains miqobot_v1.2.3.exe then IncludePress Add, then Apply, and look carefully at Process Name column. You should see Exporer.exe, svchost.exe – those are ok. Watch for something suspicious accessing Miqobot’s EXE after you close it.
Let us know what you find, and we’ll think what to do next 🙂Most likely, it’s your antivirus being overly paranoid. Try adding Miqobot application to whitelist 🙂

Miqobot v1.2.3 has completely recovered from game patch notes.
You don’t have to re-download anything, just play together once again 🙂Please don’t forget to run Miqobot as Administrator for the first time. When you install a new patch, both launcher and the game get elevated to Administrator. In order for Miqobot to be able to connect, you need to Run her as Administrator as well. More information in our Attach To guide.

Internally, this feature is already implemented as part of Scenario Scripting Engine, but it’s still a little unstable. If you follow the link and take a look at “Example 2. Legendary fishing – Helicoprion”, you can see such commands as Stop at and Stop in. They will accept both Eorzea time and Real world time.
We will release Scenarios as soon as we finish testing and implement the UI.
It depends:
- Yes, you can press Pause on Fishing tab if that’s what you mean. For all other activities Pause would be equivalent to Stop.
- Auto-Disable Typing is a feature which can be disabled (described in Keybinds and Icons Recognition). But we do not recommend doing it, because without typing detection Miqobot will accidentally type something herself.
- If you want typing and gathering at the same time, then sorry, it’s not possible 🙂
Doing something like that would involve code injections and make it much more detectable and unsafe. We have no plans on implementing code injections for Miqobot.

Yes, Miqobot uses Patience automatically when either Powerful Hook or Precision Hook is selected. And Patience II is a replacement for Patience.And we’re planning to add DX9 support very soon (just let us take a breath for patch 3.21 which is rumored to drop next Tuesday).
