We think we have finally identified the issue. It seems that your hardware is not very happy about rendering opaque texts, so we are going to find a way around that. Our developers will make a special test build for you, and I will send you the link by email.
It will be ready within an hour or two.

We did not manage to reproduce your issue at our labs, so we would be grateful if you could provide some more information.- Is this issue persistent or not? If you reboot the PC, does the text still behave like that?
- Do you see the text in the upper left corner of the game when 3D Editor on? See the attachment for text example.
- What Windows version are you using?
- What are your PC specifications?

Yes, Miqobot is still a young project, so there are a lot of things to be improved. We are planning a GUI overhaul once we catch up with the core features. And of course there will be an option to customize the font to your liking.
2D Radar is also an additional feature that will be released in the future. Both 3D and 2D Radars have their own use cases. The main purpose of 3D Radar is to support locations with 3-dimensional navigation, such as flying in Heavensward. We agree that 2D Radar will be more useful in battle and in areas without flying, such as dungeons and pre-Heavensward locations.

Not sure if this has been said, but would be really nice if the bot knew when to use certain abilities.
ATM I have Choco Cure III. (Which is great) But no use using it at the start of a race!

In the next version, you will be able to use the abilities at any specific moment in the race. It will be implemented as a new setting for Chocobo Racing.Yeah, I’ve got W for forward. The bot says nothing. It *did* say it didn’t understand my custom keybind for jump, which I fixed, but nothing about not being able to accelerate.
Do you have English keyboard layout by default?
There is a rare bug which happens on some hardware, but only when your keyboard layout is not English. In some rare cases, Miqobot would not be able to translate a W key into a keystroke, which would result in no key being pressed.- Try switching your keyboard layout to English.
- Try switching your default Windows keyboard to English.
- If that doesn’t help, try assigning any non-letter key to Move Forward. For example, 1 key or Insert key.
This is a recently discovered issue, so we didn’t manage to push a fix into release yet.

Indeed, we have plans for this feature, and it’s currently in the early stages of research. We call it DPS Solver.
Very much like Crafting Solver, it will be able to analyze the current state of the battle, constantly track your cooldowns, and decide the best skill to hit at each moment in order to maximize the overall DPS.We are planning to implement several profiles for different jobs, including BRD of course. By assigning special shortcuts, you will be able to switch between them easily. You will be able to create your own profiles and share them just like any other preset for Miqobot.

We’ll be making announcements as we move further into development.Can anyone help? I’ve set up a bot to race, but it doesn’t accelerate for whatever reason. It does jump to get chests, so it’s not complete dead, but for whatever reason accelerating is a no-no. I even deleted my custom keybinds in case bot is confused by them, but nope.
Could you please confirm that you have a key assigned to Move Forward action? Miqobot takes keybinds directly from the game, and she usually adapts to your customized shortcuts if you have any.
Also, could you please tell us what Miqobot says in the output area? It would help us understand and analyze your issue.

The issue with Vintage recipes is that they are elementally aspected. Elements reduce the effectiveness of all unaspected Synthesis actions, so it’s better to use other skills such as Brand of Wind, Brand of Fire (depending on the element).
Miqobot doesn’t know about this yet. She thinks that Basic Synthesis always works the same, but with Vintage items it does only 50% efficiency. So please be careful with aspected recipes.
We also don’t recommend trying any 50-star recipes yet, because the progress formula doesn’t consider hidden iLvl penalties.Of course, these issues will be fixed in the future.

It may be possible that your screen freezes are actually coming from Graphics Driver. Miqobot doesn’t use any Graphics API directly, so we don’t have any control over that.Yes, DirectX 9 is indeed planned for release very soon.
If nothing else works, this would be the best solution for you 🙂

We have looked into the issues you reported.
- Indeed, we have identified the bug wherein solver does not reset after finishing automatically (when count is reached). It resets only by pressing Finish button manually. Thank you for letting us know, this will be fixed.
- Could you please give us more information about the recipes that include another item? What recipe exactly did you try to craft and what are your stats? A small screenshot from the Monitor tab would be awesome.
The most valuable info is Base Progress on the left and Hit Progress on the right. Base Progress is calculated by Miqobot, and Hit Progress is remembered when you do a Basic Synthesis step in the game. The main idea is that they have to match. If they don’t, we’ll have to upgrade the formulae.
In the full version of Miqobot v1.2.4 more skills will be added (Byregot’s Blessing for sure). Others will be revealed in patch notes.
Also, it will become possible to use solver at any level with any combination of cross skills. Miqobot will not try to use unavailable skills.
Hopefully, we’ll also manage to fix a robotish feel in gathering. Not in this version, but improvements for navigation are already under research.
