Nice question!
1. To make Precise and Basic Touch work with Miqobot macros, create a small ingame macro.
Just like the one you posted:
Then drop it on your hotbar:
And then use this key in your Miqobot macro. It will fire conditionally just like expected.2. As for you second request, to execute Macro #1, wait, execute Macro #2 – it’s also possible. Though this is not the intended use of the macro feature.
Basically, each comma denotes the next step in the crafting rotation. So in order to make Miqobot wait, you would have to put as many commas as the number of steps needed to skip.
In your example, Macro #1 has 10 steps.
Let’s assume that your Macro #1 is reachable by Alt+1 and your Macro #2 is reachable by Alt+2.A corresponding Miqobot macro would look like this:
alt+1,,,,,,,,,,alt+2,
The last comma is important as it makes Miqobot wait indefinitely until craft ends by itself. Without the last comma Miqobot will hit Alt+2 over and over again, assuming it’s the finalizer shortcut. Please note, that we do not recommend using the second method.
If lag happens, your ingame macro will be messed up, and most likely the crafting will get stuck. Miqobot macros are different by design, because they are bound to each crafting step precisely. Miqobot macros are more lag-proof than ingame macros. But of course, please choose whatever method suits you best π
Thank you for reporting!
It seems that we have overlooked a couple of vital features in French client, and most likely, in other languages as well. We’ll look into this and we are going to prepare a diagnostics build for you with potential fixes.
We’ll just have to teach Miqobot how Collectability window looks like in every language, so she will be able to read it. And the second issue, about filtering words in 3D Radar, should be fixed as well.
Thank you for posting such detailed report π
It really helps to identify the bug and speeds up fixing.Thank you very much for your feedback!
- Indeed, getting stuck because of Advanced Touch or a cross skill not available is not very nice. But of course we will make Miqobot aware of skills in the full release. Miqobot will check each ability by presence on hotbar, by level, by job, and by cross skills section. Unavailable skills will not be used in the rotation, and the solver will still maximize the HQ output based on the selected abilities.
- The amount of time required to solve the recipe is based on several parameters. Basically, the more Durability and Progress a recipe has, the more time it will take Miqobot to solve it. You can get an approximate idea of how long it will take by looking at Monitor tab -> Solver States. Each state is traversed by Miqobot about 10 times during her frozen state. The more states you see there – the longer it will take.
So if you take a look at the recipes again:- Growth Formula Gamma (Level 30) – 40 Durability, 51 Progress.
- Mega-Potion (Level 43) – 80 Durability, 155 Progress.
Mega-Potion is x6 times harder to solve than Growth Formula Gamma. Actually, it will take even longer because at Level 43 a Basic Synthesis step gives far less Progress than at Level 30. My guess is if you try to wait a little bit longer (3-4 minutes), Miqobot will finally manage to find the solution.
The main point here is that once the solution is found, it is stored in memory and can be used to craft as many items as you want.
Of course, we are working on optimizations and we’ll do our best to make it as fast as possible. Simple recipes should take less time, and the most computing power will be spent on 60-star recipes and specialist skills.
We think we have finally identified the issue. It seems that your hardware is not very happy about rendering opaque texts, so we are going to find a way around that. Our developers will make a special test build for you, and I will send you the link by email.
It will be ready within an hour or two.
Minigames Bot is still in development and not working properly. We’ll be making announcements in our Minigames Development section.
Thank you for your patience πThank you for reporting!
We did not manage to reproduce your issue at our labs, so we would be grateful if you could provide some more information.- Is this issue persistent or not? If you reboot the PC, does the text still behave like that?
- Do you see the text in the upper left corner of the game when 3D Editor on? See the attachment for text example.
- What Windows version are you using?
- What are your PC specifications?
We’ll reproduce your environment based on the informtation you provide and try to identify the bug once again.

Yes, Miqobot is still a young project, so there are a lot of things to be improved. We are planning a GUI overhaul once we catch up with the core features. And of course there will be an option to customize the font to your liking.
2D Radar is also an additional feature that will be released in the future. Both 3D and 2D Radars have their own use cases. The main purpose of 3D Radar is to support locations with 3-dimensional navigation, such as flying in Heavensward. We agree that 2D Radar will be more useful in battle and in areas without flying, such as dungeons and pre-Heavensward locations.
Thank you for taking the time to support Miqobot.
We really appreciate it πYep, itβs working now. Would never guess that was the cause.
Thank you for letting us know! And sorry for the inconvenience π
Hey Miqobot,
Not sure if this has been said, but would be really nice if the bot knew when to use certain abilities.
ATM I have Choco Cure III. (Which is great) But no use using it at the start of a race!
Thanks!Sure, feature request is accepted π
In the next version, you will be able to use the abilities at any specific moment in the race. It will be implemented as a new setting for Chocobo Racing.Yeah, Iβve got W for forward. The bot says nothing. It *did* say it didnβt understand my custom keybind for jump, which I fixed, but nothing about not being able to accelerate.
Do you have English keyboard layout by default?
There is a rare bug which happens on some hardware, but only when your keyboard layout is not English. In some rare cases, Miqobot would not be able to translate a W key into a keystroke, which would result in no key being pressed.- Try switching your keyboard layout to English.
- Try switching your default Windows keyboard to English.
- If that doesn’t help, try assigning any non-letter key to Move Forward. For example, 1 key or Insert key.
This is a recently discovered issue, so we didn’t manage to push a fix into release yet.
It will be fixed in the upcoming version.April 9, 2016 at 6:58 pm in reply to: [Request] Auto-fire picked combat abilities to increase DPS #789This is a very interesting feature, and we are very glad that you’ve raised this topic π
Indeed, we have plans for this feature, and it’s currently in the early stages of research. We call it DPS Solver.
Very much like Crafting Solver, it will be able to analyze the current state of the battle, constantly track your cooldowns, and decide the best skill to hit at each moment in order to maximize the overall DPS.We are planning to implement several profiles for different jobs, including BRD of course. By assigning special shortcuts, you will be able to switch between them easily. You will be able to create your own profiles and share them just like any other preset for Miqobot.
Thank you very much for this request! π
