    Unfortunately our trial identification algorithm has been exploited and we had to disable it. You can find more information in these threads:

    The author of the exploit has offered his assistance in creating a more stable algorithm. But since then he hasn’t informed us of any progress on his side.

    Creating a new trial system will consume a lot of time and development resources, so at the moment there is no other way to try Miqobot.
    We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

    Good point!
    We will try to adapt the Output Area for formatted colored messages. It would certainly help draw attention to important ones.

    However this message is not actually an error but one of many decision taken by Miqobot. It happens at every gathering node along the way.
    Still, this is the important decision and we should at least start with special formatting. If it still doesn’t help, we will consider freezing the text scroll as well.

    Yes, this has been stated several times:

    An important note!
    Curly braces {} prevent an item to be gathered if there’s not enough GP. If you want to gather it with and without a rotation, you have to specify it twice:

    {hardsilver}
    hardsilver
    crystal

    In addition, when Miqobot decides to skip an item due to not enough GP, you will see this message in the Output Area:

    Not enough GP for this rotation: 345 of 650 required.

    And yet, it seems that this information is still not visible enough as the question keeps arising again. What else can we do to improve visibility of this information?
    Please let us know, and we’ll try to implement your ideas in the next version.

    Yes, we are avid players.
    We sincerely enjoy and welcome new game patches regardless of how much work it means for us.

    We believe that a good game must always teach the player something new, must never stop to amaze. And we also believe that grind does not belong to a good game, because grind teaches nothing.
    That’s why we created Miqobot – in order to take the grind out of our favorite game and make it even better.
    We want Final Fantasy XIV to be a source of joy and happiness for everyone.

    Of course, this decision comes at a price. We always do and always will sacrifice our playtime for the project.
    But we do so in pure belief that it is the righteous cause and that Miqobot will bring relief to many players.

    When Stormblood arrives, we will freeze all active license codes until Miqobot is up and running again. We will not waste your subscription time in the upgrade process.
    Even if it means rewriting everything from scratch, we will not rest until it is done, and we will probably be the only players from Early Access who won’t step foot into new content. But please do not try to find us on The Lodestone based on this information πŸ™‚

    Beta for Scenarios should be available soon as the initial feature pack is almost ready.
    How long it will take for the full release of Scenario Engine to arrive depends on the amount of additional features and improvements that will be requested by our users. We will do our best to fulfill as many of them as possible.

    @lyfox said correctly, Beacons exist exactly for the purpose of moving without any gathering nodes around.

    Unfortunately navigation algorithm does not activate in The Fields of Glory (Shatter), because Miqobot does not recognize this location. This is a defense mechanism to avoid weird behaviour in unsupported locations.
    We will consider supporting PvP areas in the next version of Miqobot.

    Miqobot is fixed for patch 3.51!

    No need to redownload anything. Just restart Miqobot if you had it running.

    Please note that we are conducting final testing at the moment.

    Yes, jobs and fishing issues are being addressed as well πŸ™‚

    And yes, if you manage to get logs for this behaviour in crafting, it would be most helpful. Crafting Solver constructs its mathematical model based on 74 different parameters, so without logs we can not reproduce or analyze your crafting environment.

    Yes, it’s happening because Miqobot does not recognise XYZ coordinates. If you switch to Monitor tab, you can see that it shows 0.00.
    All features that include navigation are broken.

    Miqobot is partly broken due to Patch 3.51.
    We are working on bringing her back to life.

    Yes, Waste Not is one of the heaviest CPU Intensive options.
    You can hover your mouse over the options to read tooltips and get some insight into how they affect the crafting solution.

    Please try disabling CPU Intensive options and let us know if it helps πŸ™‚

    Yes, judging from your description, it happens due to recalculation of crafting solution.
    How much Time and RAM does Miqobot predict for your settings?

    In order to reduce the amount of time Miqobot freezes before crafting, please use the recommended settings described here:
    Crafting Solver – Recommended Settings for 60-star

    Please aim for 10 seconds of solving or less.
    There is almost no benefit in waiting longer.

    Since the update I’ve been having problems with miqobot no longer responding in windows after a while, even if I’m mid-craft. This happened with the beta, as well. πŸ™

    edit to add: I use windows 10 and this happens running her as admin and without running as admin.

    Would you please give us more information about your issue? What exactly do you mean by no longer responding?

    • With Crafting Solver, Miqobot freezes at start completely to give more processing power to solving algorithm.
    • In addition, this may happen mid-craft as well, because of the potential discrepancies between formulae used by Miqobot and by the game. If reality differs from what was calculated by theoretical formula, Miqobot disregards the formulae and makes Solver to recalculate the whole solution if necessary.

    This behaviour is described in details in Crafting Guide.

    Do you experience this kind of no longer responding or something else?

    I for one appreciate the avatar feature, i personally like it hidden :3

    We are planning to improve this setting further and implement a way to reduce window size, so it would occupy less space on screen.
