    An ability to control rotation usage with regards to number of attempts on the node will be added in Scenario Engine.

    However, if it’s the achievement you are after then it’s much easier to accomplish than it seems.

    When you run Palace of the Dead as a fixed party (solo as well), all your pomanders are saved in your fixed party slot. And when you die or leave PotD in progress, pomanders will be reset to what is saved in that slot.
    In addition, Hoards Achievement progress never goes down – even if you die or leave PotD.

    So here is an easy recipe to earn the achievement:

    1. Start Palace of the Dead – Floors 1-10 (solo).
    2. Try to save as many Pomanders of Safety as possible till Floor 11.
    3. Try to gain the highest level possible. Take your time to earn extra experience points. It will make achievement farm easier.
    4. Enter Floor 11 and enable ‘Hoards – Floor 11’ grid from the previous post.
    5. Use a Pomander of Safety to remove unnecessary traps. Known trap locations will still be shown.
    6. Proceed through the floor and step on every known trap (yellow) or hoard (blue) on your screen.
    7. When you find a hoard, confirm that your achievement progress has increased.
    8. Leave Palace of the Dead and restart from Step #5.

    This way you can re-enter Floor 11 as many times as you want with Pomanders of Safety always in your inventory.
    You can also try exploring up to Floor 13 if you managed to save up to three Pomanders of Safety.

    Remember that each floor has a roughly 33% chance to spawn an Accursed Hoard. So if you go through all rooms and do not encounter a hidden hoard, don’t worry and just proceed to the next floor.

    Of course, you can use this method at any set of floors. But Floors 11-20 have the least density of possible spots that you will have to explore.
    This is the best choice for farming Of the Sixth Sense title.

    Our traps server has been working 24/7 for the past few months.
    Unfortunately hoards data is extremely slow to accumulate, and it is only now that we can finally complete the analysis.

    • There is 98% data correlation between hoards and traps at floors 51-200.
    • There is 70% data correlation between hoards and traps at floors 1-50.

    If you want to witness it yourself, you can use this sample of hoards data that we compiled into a portable grid preset.

    1. Download the attachment.
    2. In Miqobot, press Share -> Import.
    3. Select the downloaded text file.
    4. Two grids will be imported: ‘Hoards – Floor 11’ and ‘Hoards – Floor 61’.
    5. Switch to Navigation tab, select the one you want to test, and enable ‘Show on radar’.

    You will see blue squares on the screen, they represent known hoard locations. Next, open Advanced Settings and enable ‘Show known trap locations’ for PotD mode.
    When you enter Palace of the Dead, you will see that most traps overlap with hoards.

    It means that @LHalfish is correct. You can interpret known traps as possible hoard locations.
    And yes, unfortunately in this case it becomes a rather uncomfortable feature to use.

    Combat is planned for release shortly after Scenario Engine.
    We still can not give you an ETA, but rest assured that Miqobot Team is working day and night to deliver new features as fast as possible.

    Unfortunately our trial identification algorithm has been exploited and we had to disable it. You can find more information in these threads:

    The author of the exploit has offered his assistance in creating a more stable algorithm. But since then he hasn’t informed us of any progress on his side.

    Creating a new trial system will consume a lot of time and development resources, so at the moment there is no other way to try Miqobot.
    We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

    Good point!
    We will try to adapt the Output Area for formatted colored messages. It would certainly help draw attention to important ones.

    However this message is not actually an error but one of many decision taken by Miqobot. It happens at every gathering node along the way.
    Still, this is the important decision and we should at least start with special formatting. If it still doesn’t help, we will consider freezing the text scroll as well.

    Yes, this has been stated several times:

    An important note!
    Curly braces {} prevent an item to be gathered if there’s not enough GP. If you want to gather it with and without a rotation, you have to specify it twice:

    In addition, when Miqobot decides to skip an item due to not enough GP, you will see this message in the Output Area:

    Not enough GP for this rotation: 345 of 650 required.

    And yet, it seems that this information is still not visible enough as the question keeps arising again. What else can we do to improve visibility of this information?
    Please let us know, and we’ll try to implement your ideas in the next version.

    Yes, we are avid players.
    We sincerely enjoy and welcome new game patches regardless of how much work it means for us.

    We believe that a good game must always teach the player something new, must never stop to amaze. And we also believe that grind does not belong to a good game, because grind teaches nothing.
    That’s why we created Miqobot – in order to take the grind out of our favorite game and make it even better.
    We want Final Fantasy XIV to be a source of joy and happiness for everyone.

    Of course, this decision comes at a price. We always do and always will sacrifice our playtime for the project.
    But we do so in pure belief that it is the righteous cause and that Miqobot will bring relief to many players.

    When Stormblood arrives, we will freeze all active license codes until Miqobot is up and running again. We will not waste your subscription time in the upgrade process.
    Even if it means rewriting everything from scratch, we will not rest until it is done, and we will probably be the only players from Early Access who won’t step foot into new content. But please do not try to find us on The Lodestone based on this information πŸ™‚

    Beta for Scenarios should be available soon as the initial feature pack is almost ready.
    How long it will take for the full release of Scenario Engine to arrive depends on the amount of additional features and improvements that will be requested by our users. We will do our best to fulfill as many of them as possible.

    @lyfox said correctly, Beacons exist exactly for the purpose of moving without any gathering nodes around.

    Unfortunately navigation algorithm does not activate in The Fields of Glory (Shatter), because Miqobot does not recognize this location. This is a defense mechanism to avoid weird behaviour in unsupported locations.
    We will consider supporting PvP areas in the next version of Miqobot.

    Yes, jobs and fishing issues are being addressed as well πŸ™‚

    And yes, if you manage to get logs for this behaviour in crafting, it would be most helpful. Crafting Solver constructs its mathematical model based on 74 different parameters, so without logs we can not reproduce or analyze your crafting environment.
