    So basically it should be an automatic pause whenever a ground targeting mode is activated. All right, we’ll see what we can do. Most likely, it will be a part of raiding customization UI.

    Please note that pause hotkey is not a workaround.
    There are a lot of different cases wherein pause is preferrable, but it’s physically impossible to identify and implement all of them in a timely manner. The pause hotkey is a feature designed to address this problem.

    Issue: Not avoiding attacks on Tioman. Character continually jumps in place while attacking and repeatedly dies to its AOE attacks.

    Reason observed: Character Settings -> Automatically Lock On Target when initiating auto-attack = YES
    Remedy: Character Settings -> Automatically Lock On Target when initiating auto-attack = NO

    I think, even without optimization, it would still be a good implementation. The reason being that a lot of times when you have to override Miqo’s own decisions (like making sure to get Refulgent Arrow off instead of Straighter Shot) it messes with her skill queue and instead of popping off OGCD’s following the skill like she normally would, she won’t use any OGCD’s while the GCD is rolling. If she uses Refulgent Arrow every time on her own then it wouldn’t trip up the OGCD usage.

    We will try to push all job rotations as far as possible in the next release.

    However, there should be no difference in oGCD usage as Miqobot does not have a skill queue algorithm at the moment. Even if you override her GCD choice, the following actions should not be affected.
    If you could give us more information about this issue, we would like to investigate it further.

    I am having a bit of an issue with Miqo 3.23. I am not sure if its caused by activating assist or simply running Miqo. Miqo seems to be moving the cursor way out of the way often to the left, often causing me to leave focus of ff14. It is most easily reproduced simply by using character inspection and trying to rotate your character. You will see your character spin out of control and very rapidly.

    This issue usually indicates that there is a third-party driver installed, which is common for specific mouse or keyboard hardware.
    It’s not related to Miqobot directly, but it is known to behave differently with certain overlay windows such as 3D Radar.

    In order to avoid this issue, please open Advanced Settings and set the following:
    3D Radar -> Draw Method -> Always on Top.
    This setting is enabled in Miqobot by default.

    Since here is most likely where one of the developers will read, I bought this bot recently after a quick discussion as to why it wasn’t opening on the forums, it’s an extremely easy to use and straightforward bot. I already at least a dozen custom-made scenarios that I created for myself with relative ease as well as gathering areas, patterns etc. I haven’t found any issues yet, thought if I find any I’ll let you know.

    Would you please give us more information about your issue?
    Do you mean that Miqobot application froze at this moment? Did it manage to recover or did you have to restart it?

    Is there any way if we target friendly NPCs in the future as a healer it will heal? I’m kinda lazy when doing some of the healer quests.

    Yes, this feature has already been requested and planned.
    It requires an additional AI layer for non-party NPC recognition, so it’s not very easy to implement. We will try to do it in one of the future updates.

    I was running level 70 treasure map as paladin with Combat assist on, and the bot stopped working on the Elder Summon. I have no idea why, has this happened to anyone else? I had to take over manually until the end and restart the bot afterwards.

    Happened a couple of times on Elder Summons, so I think it was the trigger.

    We are sorry, but we haven’t managed to reproduce this issue in our labs.
    Would you please give us more information? Did you happen to save the message log from the Output Area?

    Also, I was wondering, is it possible to have the healing combat assist mode to cancel a dps cast in order to do something more important, in emergencies only?

    For example to swiftcast or normal raise a person from the dead? or to cast Medica / Medica 2 / Benediction / Esuna?

    Dps Casting is 2.41 seconds to cast and if someone died at the begining of a cast you can spend 2 seconds not doing anything about it or if the boss reduces everyone to 2% to 50% health, for example medica would be needed to cast, this is very important during raids

    Yes, this option will be available with the release of customization UI for raiding support.
    In the meantime, you can interrupt a DPS spell manually and Miqobot will notice the emergency earlier.

    Hi Miqo,

    Just wondering with the recent Sohm Al update, I was wondering if it is possible for the bot to ignore all the extra enemies in it (the Ice Boulder, Glacial Sprites and the Dravanian Hornet in the first boss) for squadron dungeon run? Since it seems that, it ignores the slimes in 2nd boss and was wondering if such behaviour can be implemented as I think it would make the runs much faster.

    Yes, Miqobot already ignores Dravanian Hornets when the boss has less than 40% HP. It is possible to extend this behavior.
    When implementing certain mechanics our topmost priority is survivability. A single wipe usually requires 2-3 minutes to recover, while ignoring a mechanic saves only 20-25 seconds.

    But all right, we will experiment with your request further. If it doesn’t cause additional stress on any job, we will adjust the ignore threshold on Dravanian Hornets and Glacier Sprites.

    In this case, please take a look at the “Steer Power” setting, as it was designed to address differences in network latency and Cunning attribute.

    Click the + button to access Advanced Settings and enable option “Adjust steer power”.
    This will display a new setting on “Gold Saucer” tab.

    Seamless movement system is already implemented for combat navigation. You can see it in action when farming Squadron Dungeons.

    We are now working to adapt the new system for all features with navigation. It will take a few more updates.

    We would like to avoid duplicating this information in a separate thread, because it will become outdated after the next release.

    Yes, conditional macro enhancements have already been requested.
    However, it would require a complete redesign of the Macro Crafting feature.

    We never expected a simple macro algorithm to be used for complex rotations, especially after the release of Crafting Solver. We are surprised that it remained popular for the whole Stormblood expansion, so perhaps it should be given more credit in the future.
    At the moment we are fully focused on the Combat features and there is still a lot of work left to do, so we won’t be able to upgrade the Macro Crafting algorithm soon. But we will consider prioritizing it in Shadowbringers, as this would give the community a good head start for the first few months.

    Yes, it is already possible to use food and potions by the means of Scenario Engine.
    You can use sendKey() and sendIcon() functions to activate the desired crafting buffs.

    Our users have created many examples that achieve this functionality.
    Here is one of them: Automatically use food/potion during crafting

    Verifying the amount of CP is currently not possible, but we will think of the way to implement it in the future.

    No, we are sorry, there is no math related to “Max” setting.
    It’s a simple convenience option instead of writing “99999” in the Count field.

    Implementing a math expression evaluator would probably take a lot of time, but we will see what we can do. In the meantime, please consider using Scenario Engine to craft multi-stage recipes.

    This behavior usually indicates that some important abilities are missing and Miqobot does not see a way to finish the craft.
    For example, if you remove Master’s Mend from hotbar and try to craft a complex housing item, you will most likely run out of Durability before you can finish the Progress bar. This is known as a state of deadlock.

    We can investigate your problem, but we need more information to be able to help:

    1. Please show us the complete message log from Output Area. (Starting from “Hello! I am your Miqobot!”)
    2. Please show us a screenshot of the settings you enabled on Crafting tab.
    3. Please show us a screenshot of your crafting hotbar.
      (Start the synthesis before taking a screenshot, because we have to see which abilities are highlighted by the game.)
    4. Please check option “Enable logs” on Crafting tab under Solver settings. It will create two log files:
      – miqo_crafting.log
      – miqo_crafting_solver.log
      Put both of them in ZIP or RAR archive and attach here.

    The more information we have, the faster we’ll be able to help you!

    Hi! I’m so sorry if this has been addressed before, I looked around a bit and couldn’t find an answer. My issue is that when the bot is racing, for some odd reason she seemingly keeps pressing A and D over and over, so I keep drifting side to side. Is there a fix to this? or is that totally normal and I’m just being nit picky?

    Indeed, steering is a basic mechanic of Chocobo Racing. It is required to avoid obstacles and align with the magicked panels and treasure coffers scattered throughout the course. If you want to see the track that Miqobot follows when steering, please enable the desired settings under “Race Recording” -> “Show”.

    I have same problem with all the movement this bot does. For example with squadron mission, after enemy it always turns the camera as low as it can and then gets stuck leaving my character to jump on one spot endlessly, sometimes it can’t seem to find a way and does the spamming of A and D keys.
    I bought this to mainly farm mgp, but can’t use it without supervision since every time it switches between the minigame machine, it get’s stuck spamming A and D, needless to say it looks very suspicious.
    Kinda shame, was a waste of money for me tbh.

    This issue doesn’t seem to be related to Chocobo Racing.

    -Scan Hunting Log to show names of monsters you need to kill. (It is possible to put the names in yourself, but deleting is a hassle)

    Yes, automatic pause for chat will be implemented for all features as a new global setting.
