That’s a big bummer for me, the sole reason I picked up Miqo was for the crafting solver. Everything else was neat, but a plus, not the selling point.

They’re talking about end game rotations, not leveling up junk. Miqo can easily handly lvl71-80 recipes, but I havent tried 2* (master recipes) since I can easily HQ them with my gear in less than a minute x craft.

I know, I’ve used miqo for endgame crafting in the past, that’s why I’m saying this

with classic stuff like melds and some HQ raw, the solver could HQ anything.

Incorrect. The solver cannot HQ level 450 crafts without CPU intensive options checked, even with HQ pre-requisites.

    4777 difficulty 35 durability 12019 starting quality
2164/2088/541 Blood Boullibase HQ + Cunning Syrup HQ + Specialist
All CPU intensive solver tasks unchecked, solve time 1386.2216 ms

End result: 17859 quality, an increase of 5840, turning up an NQ result in 24 steps.

Checking Ingenuity, Manipulation, Innovation, and Waste Not will result in an HQ result, but it will also cause the craft to be in excess of 40 steps, increase computation time to 14.2 minutes, and RAM usage to 2.6 GB. I am not wasting the food, the mats, and the time to prove it to you.

Crafting rotation from balance, same stats, 0 starting quality, HQ’s 100% of the time unless a ‘poor’ falls onto the byregots, is also 24 steps, and requires no computational time.

Conclusion: The solver is unsuitable for HQing i450 crafts at the moment.

If you wish to create a scenario or use a macro to craft, that’s a different story, but any implication that the solver is effective or efficient for these level crafts without accessing the 70-80 abilities is fiction.

Are you using the recommended cross class skills for miqo? I find it very hard to believe that you can’t reliably craft anything HQ with miqo if you have enough gear. I’m about to hit lvl 80 so I’m gonna look into this.

Updated the FFXIVCrafting button and made one for Garland Tools 😀

For firefox users, use ViolentMonkey (https://violentmonkey.github.io/) instead of Greasymonkey for proper functionality

EDIT: All credit for the hard work goes to @lyfox of course, I just adapted his code to a neat button

Hey Lyfox, did you ever try running/making a similar script on the ffxivteamcraft website?

+1 for that, I don’t even have that many and its already starting to be annoying. Or at least allow for sorting them somehow

It’s a pain in the ass to get the garland tools script working from a button for some reason. Probably due to the way the website loads content.

I’ll look into it a bit more next week.

Yea i made it a little more structured for duplicates but i couldnt get my hands on datamined French or German recipes. Sorry about that.

I updated the first greasemonkey script. I’m looking into the garland tools now, never used it for crafting lists before

I turned this into a button that automatically copy the results to your clipboard, bypass the “ctr-c” part.

Here it is for installing (need Greasymonkey/Tampermonkey): https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/31546-crafting-list-to-miqo-scenario
