To all the jerks that try to pull you down, just tell them to write their own program.
As much as you (and other devs) would like for a more calm environment- a post isn’t going to change that.

Most people are lazy, arrogant, dumb and have no clue about anything, so they’ll just keep on coming.
They voice their opinions (which are wrong) and demand a full team of 9000 devs to fix things the second something gets broken.
There is no escaping them, since they are the majority of people.
Does it sound harsh? It does, but it’s just the way things work.

    No point in trying to justify yourself infront of the dumb masses, there is one thing;
    Ignore them.

Work on Miqo at your own pace, without randoms pulling you aside and yelling into your ear for X or Y.
Ignoring them might be hard at first – but you (or any other dev) have absolutely no need to look at every single viotrolic response.

I enjoy using Miqo, with all the things it CAN do.
Keep up the good work and I’ll wait patiently for things to get fixed and even new features.

I’ve raided so much with the combat assist as a bard, never have I been called out once for it. Even outside of raids :3

It works better on certain classes than on others (bards can move freely without it screwing over their rotation as far as I know)
What about offensive/defensive cooldowns? Miqo always used them in succession and didn’t think of downtimes in some fights.
I’d have to seperate some cooldowns off onto other bars without keybinds just so miqo didn’t use them (in bad ways).

Only used it with tanks/healers so far, can’t say how it is for most dps classes.

Combat assist has only just started so am looking forward to some changes and additional tinkering.

What’s the point of having a combat routine if you’re not going to use it for current-content raids etc?

There’s more combat in the game than just raids plus I assume nobody wants to get reported.
Some of the things that miqo does makes it obvious that the player is botting.

If your static knows you are botting and are okay with sub-optimal dps, be my guest to use it.

    Even when miqo releases all combat rotations up to and including lv 80, it’d still be wise to only use it in certain parts of the game (pref solo content);
    – leveling
    – lower levels of deep dungeons
    – leves
    – grinding materials from mobs
    – FATEs

Whilst the rotations “worked”, there’s a lot that’s really suspicious if you use them (and they aren’t min-max either).
I know exactly who is using a bot when in a dungeon, due to stuns and ranged attacks going off whilst the other person gets out of melee range, tanks retaunting instantly, healers having a weird prio system in miqo, etc.

And for the love of god, don’t use them in current-content high-end duties and raids.
The more running and jumping and all that stuff (tactics), the less miqo will properly be able to throw out her rotation.

anyone happen to have all of these grids saved in one place?
Currently just dloading the text file and importing it whenever I need to get something.
Most of my grids are all mixed up and the list is pretty confusing right now.

Anyone able to share with me their grids as a “pack”?

Don’t mind removing everything and redownloading > importing in order but the downloading would take quite a while if I’d have to do it per grid.

Of course, an advanced setting for precise customization is also planned.
It will be a part of upcoming Quality-of-Life feature pack.

Great to hear! wondering what else will be in there.

  • Would you please clarify your request? Do you want to edit navigation grids or scenario commands?
While it may be possible to extend 3D Editor to evaluate multiple waypoints at once, it would not work very well with scenarios. Scenarios are essentially simplified scripts, they contain many implicit dependencies which may be broken by an inaccurate modification.
  • Thank you for your feedback very much!

I haven’t used many scenarios yet and pretty unfamiliar with them so far.
What I meant was the grids used. Sometimes I download a persons grid and it’s configured as a grid that doesn’t use a mount or vice-versa. It would be great if theres a option available to override/ignore the movement option and make it something else (like turning walking into mounting or the other way around).
Whilst it is not a real problem to simply edit it ingame (haven’t tried editing it in a text program), it sounds a tad easier if a option was available to “always use mount/fly if available”

Thank you for your reply as well!
