Miqobot does not support housing minigames.
If you don’t play minigames on Minion Square, several algorithms will be broken. Double down timer is one of these algorithms.

Most of the chocobo racing is dead as MGP minigame farming became the better MGP/hour farm rate.

The ratios are simply that – if a + b is greater than 99%, accelerate. If a + b is less than 95%, decelerate. Basically the 99/95 ratio works great for leveling racing chocobos – you can adjust as needed, but really, I didnt for the most part.

If you have a cure/recovery build and end up with plenty of stamina left at the end, do what the (outdated) guide says – set both at 0%, remove the checkmark on decelerate when lathered and your chocobo should run lathered the entire race.

If youre looking for a specific set of numbers to use – its all 100% dependent on what chocobo youre racing. If you have great stats and stamina, set the numbers differently so that you run fast the whole way or most of the way. Adjust them down if you end up at 0% before the end.

My end racing set that I won all 15 challenges on was Stam3/SuperSprint. I ran all those manually though for the most part. Or I found/made a particular race path myself and set ‘use ability 1 (super sprint) at 1%’ – meaning right out of the gate, miqo would use super sprint and Id hope that the bot would get in front of everyone and just make it. Works most of the time.

Best bet is to just make your own – race a race once or twice to get a feel for where shit is and then record. Remember, you dont have to hit every box or dash boost if youre objective is to just win.

Lot of stuff in the bot is outdated and the guides can be helpful but end up being a few years old information. Unless youre doing something that the rest of the community is doing, youll more than likely have to make your own settings/routes/gathering points/etc that work for you. Most everything Ive found is meh at best, because its a few years old – so use it as a template and adjust/fix as you need to.

Ill check back if you still need some help.

Auto logoff is as useful as just stop botting and standing there afk. I don’t think it would add much to safety. Although I admit, it would be some nice feature, if I could let Miqo log me off cleanly.

Thats the whole point though. It does. Sitting somewhere and going afk is not the same as cleaning logging out. A clean log out through a recall and /logout option is STANDARD feature in a number of bots and has been for years. I cant remember a single bot that didnt have an autologout or a “perform X action at X minutes”.

And if done wrong, even slightly, makes you more vulnerable to actually being exposed of using a bot, instead of preventing that.

I disagree. Many bot programs over the years have made it a simple ‘if someone messages you, or if a GM messages you, log the fuck off immediately’. I dont think that exposes you anymore than literally sitting there getting /tell after /tell and not responding. I think if I messaged a player and then they logged off shortly after, Id think much less of it than if I kept messaging and no answer. ESPECIALLY if a GM does it. They have less evidence if you LOG IMMEDIATELY out than if you sit there and let them message you.

I don’t think your suggestion are bad, but to make chat interactions viable for safety it would require a lot of effort I suppose.

As someone whos been botting since the dawn of automation in MMOs (d2jsp, wowglider, wowgnome, etc) literally every single one Ive used has some sort of ‘someone is messaging me – alert the user through a loud noise or auto-log off’. I understand that it may be hard to code in whatever this software is developed in, but it is a core feature of a lot of bots.

And even if we ignore those, why not a ‘perform X action after X amount of time’? The bot obviously can control the character, use actions, interact with objects AND understands timing – why not give the option of an open ended statement like that?

I dont think its unreasonable to think that would be easy to integrate and work with.

    What is considered “Core functionality”?

I would assume simple auto replies, or auto log outs after a certain period of time would be core. This is usually a staple of botting.

And yes, we all know not to afk the bot overnight or whatever but lets be honest with ourselves – this is what the majority of people botting do. Being ‘socially safe’ comes with features like I listed – it helps mitigate these issues that are very apparent.

The trick to botting is making it look human right? How can it look human if it doesnt reply? How can a human play a gold saucer game for 9 hours straight even with some ‘random’ breaks in between. They cant.

Consider these features. These are ‘core’. Log out after X mins botting is key.

A user a few posts up from me said it best.

Yall need a good clear road map.

If I look into the development forum, its a wasteland. The last updates were YEARS ago, and so far, none of those things are implemented. Take, for instance, Triple Triad. In the development forum, it was posted back in February 29, 2016. 4 years ago you mentioned a feature and since then, there is no info on it.

Now, I am a new user. I like the bot a lot. I think it has a lot of potential. I was crafting scripts and building things in D2JSP and WoWGlider. I understand development and how hard it can be.

As a project manager, I also understand time tables and clear road maps. These things help move the project along in the right direction, and allow for clear, concise follow-through and goals that can be visualized.

Consider a better road-map and a clear development plan. What is the next step? What are you currently working on? What is the goal for the next few weeks/months before patch. What about after patch?

Once again, love the bot. Been using it a full day and I see a lot of awesome stuff. But I also see a lot of stuff missing and things like god awful non-changable UI font and UI design and I think – “What are your priorities here?”
