It is running okay on my end. At about 80 cookies at the moment.

When does it say “Too Far Away”? Is it during the initial Little Yang or the fiend change chapters? (those are the only 2 that should be using targets).

If you’re getting stuck before the chat finishes, you can add another “sendKey(alt+0, 1.5)” or increase the timing (1.5 to 2) as needed. I tried to slim down as much as possible to save on time, but there could be a latency difference that adds up.

If you’re getting the other end (initiating a chat with little yang again after accepting the quest), you’ll have to comment/delete out a sendkey line, since your end might be faster than mine.

Additional Info: Change your fiend on Chapter 2. Mine is always the same, so you probably only need to set that once. Default is the big eye.

For the cursor, I have it about 1.5 inches north/above my character. Ideal position probably changes based on race/resolution, so play with it a little before letting it run free.

Edit: Whoops, one second, didn’t attach the map.
    Edit2: Attached

First time sharing a scenario, so pardon if its funky/bad/messy.

    Setup:

My Keybind -> System -> Confirm = Alt+0 (i set it to my second keybind option)
I also use Target Nearest NPC = \ (I believe this is default)

Your mouse cursor MUST BE CENTERED and NOT MOVED. It basically walks to each location (that I know of, I’m not sure if it changes for others) and uses the skill where the cursor is.

If someone knows the any automated way to center your cursor, OR to cast at target, it would be a lot more reliable and cleaner. I ran it fine for like 10 straight cycles. Will be running more shortly. Might try to see if I can macro the action so I could use <t> ingame.

    Enjoy!

It is a one time activity and gated by quests sometimes; really doesn’t make too much sense.

It sounds like you need to assign/change the slot for the node it is trying. Take note as to which nodes are failing – while it is stuck (doing nothing), stop the scenario – go to the gathering tab. Stuff there should be generally filled out – the grid should be set to the item you’re harvesting. the presets (the scroll-able list on the right side) should be highlighting the one specified in the scenario. On the left side, within the “gathering node” box, you should be able to specify slot. Double-check to make sure the slot is the slot you want. You can often Google it if you’re unsure.

Let us know if that helps.

Personally, I haven’t used a grid or scenario that I didn’t have to make slight edits to make it work for my needs. If you feel that you are mounting/flying when you should be stealthy, you can actually toggle the waypoint type to reflect that.

For example, pull up the grid of interest, go to the navigation tab, and click the “on” button in the editor box. That will let you play with the grids. An overlay will appear on your screen with instructions on the upper left. I believe hitting control toggles the active edit mode, and then you can right-click on a waypoint to change the type. There is a stealth type – literally changing everything to stealth would probably solve your problem, but it would slow your gathering down a lot. Play with it, edit as you see fit.

It takes a bit of time to edit grids and scenarios, but the initial time investment really pays off when you don’t have to worry about it later.

Edit: Also yes, increasing the auto-stealth values should make you stealth sooner and exit stealth later. As I mentioned before, there is a fine balance; if you’re in stealth too much, you’re too slow.

If you click on the [+] button that is right under the Miqo avatar, it should bring up Advanced Settings. There, go to the navigation tab. You can adjust your auto-stealth values in there. I increased the values to counter the problem you had.

I think the sendKey( key, seconds ) function is going to be your best bet – set your cordials and/or food to a keyboard shortcut (hot bar / keybind).

It is good to note that at least for me, I never have to use cordials for the 4.2 gathering scenario – My GP can basically fully regen every 2 ingame hours or so. If I was splicing scenarios, I would avoid any two hour clashes, just so I don’t burn through my cordials.

I’m not sure what the timing is, but as long as the timing works out, you can always copy and paste select chapters. For example, off the top of my head, for 4.2-3, Hingan Flax is at 2:00AM/PM, and there is nothing at 12:00AM/PM. Gyr Abanian Ore starts at 12:00AM/PM, so it should be a simple matter of inserting a blank new chapter before Hingan Flax inyour 4.2 scenario, and copying the contents of the chapter for Gyr Abanian Ore.

    Does this make sense?

Edit: if there are any clashes in timing, you would have to do a bit more tweaking, such as when to use cordials, and when to visit the nodes that clash.

Thank you for responding. If it can be unlocked easily, I think it would be helpful. As one would expect, the areas themselves were only congested the first couple days. On my server, there is probably at most 10 people in the Haunted Manor as I type this, and they’re mostly AFK. I don’t consider this any more risky than gathering during a high peak time (when one shouldn’t run popular routes unattended).

That said, if unlocking it is a huge burden, I can understand focusing your resources on other things. If you can confirm whether or not you’d unlock it, it would be helpful to me as I’m currently holding off farming them till I know I can’t have Miqo help. Thank you!

@miqobot – are you able to comment if a user should be able to create a navigation grid for the event haunted manor (not sure of its exact name, not in game atm)? Or is there a kill-switch for trying to grid an unknown area? As noted above, the zone id is 0321.
