Food usage isn’t the issue, I never change stats. The issue is that I change recipes often. For example when making a piece of armor, I make some of the submats first, each new item requires a new solve.

I would gladly have 100 GB of saved solver data on my PC than have to run the solver every time I switch recipes. I use the same stats every time, and I make a lot of the same stuff daily. Combination of the solver being time inefficient with it’s ability usage and taking 1-2 minutes extra whenever you swap recipes makes it really annoying. Usually crafting 8:1 with manip/ingenuity, but would rather do something more intense for a long solve and save it.

Sure, but those nodes spawn twice a day for a limited time and are very slow in comparison to just doing False Scads. An hour of manually doing False Scads is a lot more profitable than multiple hours of botting the other two. I use up multiple stacks of sand (mostly for raid) every week.

Also assuming that a few people botting it would bring down the price and I might not even have to bot it myself.
Mostly hoping that Miqobot has Spearfishing before 4.1 at this rate. I never expected Stage 2 to take more than a month, and most of the focus (from what I’ve seen) is on the crafting solver that I haven’t needed since Stormblood gave us such broken crafting abilities that 100% rotations are easily achievable.

Any news on the progress of Stage 2? Or any possibility of Spearfishing getting out prior?
Right now, any level 70 crafter really doesn’t even need a solver. The only feature we lack to truly 100% HQ everything is avoiding poor status on Byregot’s.
But, Spearfishing, is a huge difference. Dusklight Aethersands are a super hot commodity as they are used in every good raid food and the stat potions. Gathering them is super boring, thus a bot that could do False Scads for hours would be very worthwhile.

I really hope that the update isn’t being too delayed just for the solver…

I’m just saying, if you think it’s going to take a long time, a rotation-based solver would be a quick fix for the interim, while being way safer for HQing, since you can’t abuse Tricks of the Trade to avoid a “poor” quality with Miqo, she would just get stuck if you told her to hit that key in that part of the macro. Similarly, macroing a rotation doesn’t calculate if you have enough CP.

I don’t understand how the crafting solver is giving you so much trouble, Miqo. Crafting rotations are easier now than ever. You can exclude so many skills from the math and focus on Prudent Touch + Manip 2, and get so many quick HQs.

The new crafting skills are OP as hell, you can use Miqobot to do a macro-style rotation and still get 100% success easily.

This would be absolutely amazing. Especially when leveling new retainers to cap.

Any estimates for stage 2 completion? The bot is way less useful until then, and I already feel it’s too expensive when fully featured. :X
