I decided to try this out today. Got everything I needed to make a complete level 63 crafting accessories for my Carpenter. I ran the little script thingy in my browser console and pasted it into a new Scenario In MiqoBot. I made sure all the materials were in my inventory and ate some buff food. Grant it my Weaver was only 60 and couldn’t HQ anything, but holy crap sticks in a Chocobo factory Batman, this worked BEAUTIFULLY!!!
I can’t thank you enough for this.
I look forward to the day when we can make it go gather all the materials for us as well. AMAZING!!!
I created a lot of gathering paths for old world stuff and a few in the new world but I have never created anything for red/blue scripts. I’m honestly not touching them until the scenarios come out. There is a beta version of the bot that has a ‘gathering solver’ which might help with that however. I recommend checking out the sticky threads here for details on that. If I do make some for these however I will be sure to let you know, hopefully someone better then me will beat me to it. XD
Botting is very much a crap shoot. If you think for one moment leaving it alone might draw unwanted attention, it’s best not to. I highly recommend never leaving it unattended. I usually do my botting while I’m watching videos or playing ffxi or something on the second monitor. When I see random people walk and and interact with me I stop the bot right away.
Ai hit the nail on the head. If you have a lot of friends or your FC is very popular, it may be a bit of a hindrance when all you want to do is mine up some cobalt.
Leaving any bot unattended while you sleep is a bad idea in general. Luckily Miqobot is extremely hard for system detection since is uses keyboard only commands. However, real people can tell it’s a bot by it’s movement. Luckily it’s not nearly as obvious as a teleport hack bot where characters appear underground, vanish and re-appear elsewhere, or somehow summon multiple enemies in one spot that don’t belong in that zone just to murder them all.
As with any botting, you take your account into your own hands and are solely responsible for anything that happens. Stay smart and you’ll be fine.
Here’s one more tip when crafting – do it your personal chambers with the door locked. Have a company chest and repair NPC in your room, you can craft for days unattended and even sleep and no one can tell. If you’re crafting in say…Idle-shire, trust me, people can figure it out. -Hope this helps.
Ok, I was wrong. Apparently I missed a few. So I created this one. I tested it out for a little while and it seemed to work great but if you have any problems with it, be sure to let me know and I’ll fix them. Be sure to put the words soil then shard in your ‘Gathering By Name’ list so that Miqo won’t look at you funny when there’s no soil up.
Enjoy:

You must be logged in to view attached files. There should already be one for that. I made sure all non-HW non-unspoiled nodes were covered. I’m on my phone so I can’t look for it but check the grid thread, maybe it just didn’t get put on the list. If not I’ll check when I get home. If I forgot to upload it, I’ll do it then since I have it created already.
I’m confused, are you trying to make level 60 three star items? The current crafting solver isn’t equiped for anything that high level yet. They’re working on it right now and have promised it soon. It will be able to craft the level 60 three stars with minimal gear flawlessly. Right now though, it’s not worth using on the big ticket items. I do use it on normal level 60 items though, it works fine for that. If I misunderstood and you’re just trying to help Miqo out with it’s algorithm then I apologize. 🙂
Here’s info on the new solver and the minimum requirements needed:
I’ve been checking the thread every morning before I go to work and every evening when I get home in the hopes of an update. Am I the only one that does this? I guess I’m just too excited about all the wonderful changes coming. Don’t keep us in suspense Miqo, at least give us a tiny morsel to chew on while we wait for the release.
Ditto.
We need a few more days to polish new algorithms and make them stable. And then we’ll release a new version of Miqobot, along with statistical data for every cross-class ability and recommendations for the best setup.
Thank you for your patience and unceasing support! Will this release be the big one with scenarios and stuff, or will this be an incremental release that updates just the crafting solver?
I know it’s been discussed but I couldn’t find the original topic on it. I remember asking Miqobot if there was anyway to change it to something naughty (lol). If I remember correctly she stated that they plan to add that option in the near future. If that’s the case then it would make sense that the option to just remove it would also be available.
