Gathering is kind of misbehaving even after the update, at least for me. I’m using a grid I’ve previously run for hours on end with no problems (Ai’s grid for Cobalt Ore). The bot will now only run in administrator mode, which isn’t really a big problem, but there’s now a huge delay in the overlay showing up on the screen. When I run the bot I could have it standing right in front of a node and, although I’m using the same settings that worked before, it’ll spin around for ages, run a little, spin, run in another direction, then get lost in the woods and shut down. On a few tries it’s worked to gather for a few minutes, but then shuts itself down spinning aimlessly even with nodes in clear line of sight. The log gives no errors other than poking creatures in the woods.
I dunno if it’s something not working right with the patch or if mine didn’t auto-update like it was supposed to or I’m doing something daft, but I’ve been restarting it over and over again for the past few hours trying to get it working, and it gives up every time.

Please restart your game. It should remove administrator mode and fix your issue.
When you install a new game patch, your launcher is elevated to administrator mode. If you don’t restart launcher after installation, the game will be elevated as well. Depending on your antivirus or firewall settings, Miqobot may require additional permissions in order to access the game in administrator mode.
Removing this mode is much faster than granting additional permissions.July 18, 2017 at 6:06 pm #4509Is the new crafting skills like manipulation II added in this version?
As we already said earlier, new crafting skills are planned for Stormblood Upgrade Stage 2.
It is still in progress due to immense amount of research and optimization required. It’s a very intense and extremeley complex process. If you are interested what exactly the research is about, please read the original thread on Crafting Solver development:
Thank you for your patience and understanding!
July 18, 2017 at 6:59 pm #4510Can you share some macros with us
Reddit already has some:

Cant wait to see the awesomeness of new crafting solver. Keep up the good work @miqobot its worth the wait!July 18, 2017 at 10:02 pm #4512July 19, 2017 at 10:41 am #4522July 19, 2017 at 10:47 am #4523Hotbar 1 must be replaced with pet hotbar when you enter racing. Nothing wrong with the bot, its a bug in game settings that SE screwed up. Character – Hotbar Settings – Pet Hotbar. July 19, 2017 at 12:32 pm #4524July 19, 2017 at 1:24 pm #4525We already have a temporary solution for crafting rotations – called Macro Crafting.
While it may be true that the currently available recipes do not require complex decisions to achieve a decent HQ rate, it will most likely change with the arrival of next crafting tier.We are not interested in creating another rotation-based solution.
We want to create a tool that will serve our community for the next two years of Stormblood expansion.—————————————————–
Crafting Solver does not use any rotations. It calculates the required crafting ability on the fly by analyzing all possible outcomes of every possible decision.
In its original state, this method would require about 316 EB (Exabytes) of RAM and 5,168 years to solve a single 70** recipe. Therefore we perform in-depth AI analysis to optimize the crafting solution map with clusterization formulae. While we can provide more details of this process, the amount of information would probably fit a PhD thesis and would not be very useful to the commumnity. But we will definitely share all practical and important results of our research, as we did during original development of Crafting Solver.
Thank you for your interest very much!

Let me just quickly grab my time machine and fetch a PC from 100 years in the future 😛
Jokes aside. Something else came to my mind. Propably you’re also already working on that, but I got a little annoying issue: Since Stroke of Genius has the chance to increase max CP at the beginning of the craft, Miqobot often resets and starts calculating the whole craft again. It’s somewhat annoying that every time anything changes with the current CP (be it Stroke of Genius or Buff Food running out) Miqobot has to calculate the whole recipe again based on its current state.
July 19, 2017 at 7:00 pm #4533Yes, we are aware of this issue and working on it as well.
It has been additionally discussed in this thread: Specialist trait interference.Thank you for reporting!
July 20, 2017 at 1:06 am #4551I’m just saying, if you think it’s going to take a long time, a rotation-based solver would be a quick fix for the interim, while being way safer for HQing, since you can’t abuse Tricks of the Trade to avoid a “poor” quality with Miqo, she would just get stuck if you told her to hit that key in that part of the macro. Similarly, macroing a rotation doesn’t calculate if you have enough CP.
