You have too many Fishing Presets named “Ocean Fishing” It crashes because it doesn’t know which preset to use. Delete your oldest “Ocean Fishing” Preset or Rename it.

Ahh I want to catch fish type A or B, exactly as there is for mining and botanist, but I don’t think there is anything like that.

Automatic pause for chat would be my top priority as well. I’d like to see it across the board. (In scenarios, fishing, crafting, etc.)

Thanks for this script.. ran it for my first ever ocean fishing attempt and scored 11k. Got the minion and mount from the run.

Now am I understanding correctly that the bait needs to be adjusted to get the toad?

Ran twice with no issue. CollectableTurnIn() is in there just to crash the scenario on the last area. The scenario isn’t organized the same as the pussyfoot original. For anyone new to ocean fishing, use the Lulu’s Tools link (@ the bottom of chapter 1) to know what “Route” the boat is taking. The very last area on the boat is considered the “Route”. By choosing Bloodbrine Sea (N) Route, you’ll start on chapter 23. The Cieldalaes (D) is the first area of the Bloodcrine Sea (N) route, and also chapter 23. 😀

You may have to play with the afk times a bit to compensate for the time it takes to run to the edge of the boat, but I was able to make it with no problems. As soon as the timer on the boat hits 6:59, start Miqo and Haul ass to the side.

Still haven’t caught a blue fish, but at this point, it’s only because of my crap luck. (Please post blue fish your successes!) Intuition proc’d three times for me during one spectral current on my last run. Funny enough that whole trip was my worst run point wise @ just over 10k. (Was still 2nd place :D)

Here ya go fellas and cheers to Pussyfoot for doing the original hard labor for this Scenario. Truely, a hero among ToS Violators. 🙂

Thats the next thing im going to try. We should be able to organize the Scenario in such a way that we wont need to search through the chapters after the first area. However, even with a 6 min fishing timer, things dont quite align well. Im working to time out the 2 cutscenes between areas to hopefully make a seamless 3 area run. A problem i’ve encountered is load times seem to differ between players and this makes it almost impossible to know what the timings are going to be. I had someone that watched the cutscene for about 5 minutes and everyone on the boat had to wait for them to finish before the fishing could start. I’d like to get it to run a whole voyage on auto, but this kind of throws a wrench in things.

ilvl 510 exarchic gear, all pentamelded minus the weapon/fishing rod itself. I would certainly hope that’s high enough to catch stuff there.

I could imagine that being useful for mooching, since a number of mooched fish use different tugs.

Like, for instance, catching Madam Butterfly. It requires first catching a a Hedgemole Cricket, a ! tug. You then mooch that to catch the Madam Butterfly, a !!! tug. So on the first bite, I would want to ignore !! and !!! tugs, and on the second bite, ignore ! and !! tugs.

I believe the longevity of Miqobot can be preserved by staying the safe bot that it is.

I am not familiar with the post stating reduced number of users but I’d argue that a safe product with a loyal following is going to contribute to miqos viability.

The priority lists posted make sense, at least for someone like me, who is interested in experiencing the game while also automating some tedious tasks such as fishing, gathering, crafting, Gold saucer and squadrons. If I could request a feature that I’d like to see implemented, that would be for example triple triad, but I do understand that other things take priority for the whole community.

Please keep in mind, however, that this is a request for decreased efficiency.
Fisher’s Intuition during Spectral Current lasts for 15 seconds and it takes 5-10 seconds for Miqobot to equip a different bait. So even if we implement this feature, it will be immediately broken by design because it will constantly waste the Intution buff.
If you wish to catch the blue fish, you have to equip the required bait as soon as Spectral Current appears and use it to catch Intuition prerequisites.
