Used Miqo for almost every day but while trying to start today Windows told me the programm was blocked due to potentially malware and after that message automatically deleted miqobot_v1.3.30.exe. Everytime i download it it dissapears now after around 5 seconds.

I have this same issue; Miqo team will just tell you it’s not their problem since it your Windows blocking the program. That said, I’ve not been able to locate a thread that gives a workaround.

We are very sorry to hear about your issue, but unfortunately we have no affiliation with antivirus vendors.
False Positive is a bug in antivirus, but since we have no access to their source code we can not help them fix it.

Please read the reminder in the main status thread:

    A reminder about antiviruses.

Since this is a new version of Miqobot, it may be flagged by your antivirus as False Positive because its signatute is not yet known. As it is stated in our FAQ section, Miqobot is not a virus but antiviruses are usually trained to sic at anything that tries to interact with other programs. Miqobot will make no attempt to fight your antivirus.

Please remember to whitelist your Miqobot application after download. Thank you!

We highly recommend to report this behavior to your antivirus vendor.

You can find additional information in these threads:
    Virus notification
    Trojan:Win32/Fuery.B!cl
    miqoradar.exe showing as virus
miqradar.exe showing as virus (a follow up)

You can report false positive behavior to Microsoft via a simple submission form:
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/wdsi/filesubmission

We highly recommend to report this issue, otherwise they will not have a chance to fix it.

The workaround is always the same – please whitelist your Miqobot application inside your antivirus.
