I was feeling lazy and wanted to just level my fisher in the same place I leveled my gatherers. This just flies over to the island with the ponds and fishes them for about 120minutes. It will exit turn in collectables and start over again.

Miqobot excels at crafting and gathering above all else, IMO. She is the bot to use for such things. That includes fishing and spearfishing, not just mining and botany. As a result, I’d say that all of the DoH/DoL classes are the top choice, but I’m guessing you’re asking about combat stuff.
Setting aside the global assist things like the 3D radar and its various features, if you’re asking about bot-assisted combat, then last I heard I think bard, dancer, and machinist were considered the best choices. Personally, I don’t really use combat assist (although I do use the squadron/trust system some) but from a purely theorycrafting standpoint, I’d assume that caster classes are probably not as good (or at least harder to do well) than classes that don’t have cast times on their actions if only because you won’t be interrupting them by moving.
That said, I’ve also heard testimony on the forums of people doing even end-game content with the bot and being completely successful, albeit also needing to sometimes manually handle certain boss mechanics that the bot doesn’t understand. Miqo’s combat assist is, AFAIK, a general algorithm, not tailored to any particular fight mechanics. She’ll do a good job overall, but edge cases will need operator intervention.
Finally, outside of the squadron/trust system – which only covers a (very) limited subset of the game’s available dungeons due to the complexity inherent in teaching a bot to play the whole thing – Miqobot only does combat assist, which is to say that she’ll handle (95% of) the fighting but you have to handle things like movement and selecting the enemies to attack. And that includes moving out of enemy AOE markers too.
Did you find a good fishing node for turn ins for leves? Still working on mine 171/500.
Compass enabled? Shark Eye on hotbar? Spearfishing is not very different from gathering, just make sure to put the necessary skills on hotbar and follow the guide.
Scanning for shiny gathinering nodes like ‘x’ *.*
Oh and try removing ‘x’ from the node name filter.
Hello, I’ve done a bunch of gathering on land and need to do some spearfishing. I’ve setup a navigation but after 1 node it just gets stuck with “Scanning for shiny gathinering nodes like ‘x’ *.*” and won’t move along the navigation path…
Feel like I’ve missed something obvious?
I was able to get the fishing to work finally, I am using Miqo at the base level. I guess with time I may learn how to fully utilize it. Thank you for the help 😀
I noticed the first time I loaded Miqo I had a lot of default presets, now I do not. Is this intentional?
mm the only way I can get it to be grey out for me is if I’m running a scenario so not sure what is the issue for that, you should have a few presets by default maybe clicking on the preset first will make the button available? if that doesn’t work maybe create a new preset.
And this basically is telling the bot what skills to use during fishing works the same as gathering preset and yes you can use it on a scenario fishPreset()

I have a few issues I am confused about.
Fishing: Start is greyed out. I cannot find an option that allows me to even use it.
Questing: I am really confused how this even works, I found the thread from 2018 but it only said what it “will” do. How do I use this function? Is it from custom scenarios?
Thanks for any help you can provide.
sorry I haven’t check this in awhile, yeah the lvl 80 gear is enough as for stats I think this guide has all you need regarding diadem fishing.

I believe the infinite diadem fishing is indeed plug and play the only requisite is that you bought the bait from the npc before hand “diadem hoverworm” can be buy from the npc at the entrance of diadem.
In regards to gear, will the crafted gear be enough without melds at 80? Thank you for the insight? Now, for fishing is there a scenario that can be used?
Diadem, fishing gets you alot of scripts without many requirements besides being geared and have bait.
The fastest way tho is crafting but this requires a ton of diadem mats.
While it’s not the fastest, I believe fishing is the easiest way to collect Skybuilder Scrips.

Adding to what PinHead said earlier, this may seem obvious, but does he have a mount on his hotbar? And if he does, he might wanna add mount() in there somewhere after the teleport to Il Mheg. If she’s running, she’s clearly read the grid despite the ambiguation so mount() might help a bit. I had to do the same for my white scrips fishing scenario.
