It allows for the use of actions that are associated with corresponding checkboxes. It helps a lot in achieving high quality items but it will take more time (and RAM) for your machine to calculate the optimal way for crafting with all the options turned on

Setting your status to /busy generally helps from unwanted interactions from other people if you decide to do your stuff in public (though in rare cases it may raise someone’s suspicions, but they won’t be able to do anything with it anyways)

Any class should work as long as you farm fates with a group. There are usually at least 1-2 open parties in PF for endwalker zones, so you may consider joining those

You are voluntarily giving your money away for an app that provides functionality that is strictly forbidden by the game developer (or, simply put, for cheats) and you are not getting scammed or having your credit card number leaked/stolen. You should already be grateful for that only. More to it, you are not obliged to continue paying if you are so concerned about the product delivery. You are not wrong, you are just either delusional or infantile.
