Yea its a known thing but easy to fix. Either select the recipe directly in its crafting section or craft with scenario engine like this:

recipe(Anti-shark Harpoon, 6)
craft(3)

6 is the number of recipe as it appears in recipe search, 3 is count.

1-50 fishing is so fast that theres no real gain from a scenario. 1-20 is like an hour 20-30 is another hour and you end up 50 before you know it. Just click start on fishing tab and youre good.

I tried making a scenario for it but figured that letting Miqo simply fish in a certain spot for 1h is fast enough so i didnt bother. I may look into it again if you think it will help.

I dont know exact stat requirements but first of all remember that folklore books are the top tier mats. If you want to farm yellow scrips with low stats its much better to start from easier items like lv68-70.

– BTN, Unspoiled, Jhammel Ginger (68)
– MIN, Unspoiled, Raw Imperial Jade (68)
– BTN, Normal, Zelkova Log (70)
– MIN, Normal, Molybdenum Ore (70)

Zelkova and Molybdenum are not time gated so you can farm them non stop or use them for practice. Your goal is to get enough perception to hit 115 with Methodical Appraisal. Go to Zelkova spot, hit MA, look at the value. If its below 115 then you need better gear or meld perception. If its 115 youre all set and ready to farm yellow scrips.

Your next step should be unlocking flight in all locations as without flying youre pretty much limited in progression. Most of the folklore is inaccessible without it.
From there on you should focus on getting yellow scrip tools and gear. It will take more time than gearing normally with crafters but not impossible. And very easy with Miqo anyway.

Take one of the yellow scrip scenarios, throw away chapters which dont match your stats atm, and see how it goes. Adjust scenario for yourself, buy some yellow scrip gear, and keep progressing until you have enough perception to hit 115 MA on folklore. Then it should be easy to figure out the rest.

Im playing multiple characters and trading between them almost every day. Both gil and gathering mats. Nothing to worry about. Unless of course youre doing RMT which is another story.

Take a look at the link Kontu posted. Innovation gives you +4.4%. Whether its worth 24 minutes of solving is up to you.

Makers Mark is +26.6%.
Patient Touch is +41.5%.
So personally i prefer them.

CP 8:1, no Innovation = 2-3 minutes.
CP 8:1, no Manipulation = 18 seconds.

Drop Innovation for everything.
Drop Manipulation for everything except 3-4 star.
