I don’t think it’s detectable by a software, but I can tell you it’s 100% detectable by players and possibly game master.

I can tell when I see someone using a bot, and when someone uses Miqobot or another one. In the Diadem, a lot of people uses bot to be honest. But you just need one that see you abuse of it to report you, and make a GM maybe look into you.

So it’s better to be near when you uses Miqo, so if a GM teleport you in prison or simply DM you, you can answer and lower the suspision, or at least prevent the ban because he can’t prove that you are not here. But if your character start running into the wall until the killswitch is triggered and that you don’t answer, it’s probably a good ban.

Crafting in your house while you are afk is probably safe, again, just be careful of your FC members. Don’t make it too obvious, someone could always flag you to a GM.

Ok I found the bug… probably that the crash of miqo did something to my settings. All of my scenario had, in gathering tab, the grid was the right one but not the settings of the nodes (Name of the item, gathering rotation, etc.). They all had been changed in my scenarios for the same one (even on different names). I deleted and reloaded the scenarios corrupted and the settings are back to normal.

That’s a weird one but now it seems to work well.

Well if they were arround the same time I could understand the confusion, but one is from 2022 and we indeed had no new features for more than 2 years, and the other one is 2 week old and explain well that they want to implement them…

Just trust the new message over the very old one ^^

Yep always modifying a little the grid here.
Anyways, it have been told to uses Miqo while at best being near it, so you can answer if someone talk to you or if you get teleported.

I can almost always tell when I see another bot user, and sometime I just see bots that will do the same exact grid for like 6 hours in a row. Those are the high risk of getting reported.

I’ve been reported too in the past, since HW I had 3 times whisper and once a teleport in prison on my main from GM, but everytime I was there and was like “wassup?”. I mean, they know I’m using it but they didn’t catch me using it being afk. Maybe that makes a difference. They were telling me they had report from player and then were watching me, but I guess that since I was there to answer they had no solid proof. They probably had no way to prove it or justify a ban.

Ofc when that happens I do slow down a bit for a while, skip a month or two of botting. It all depends what are your goal also I guess. On my side, I uses it on very boring stuff, like when I did the diadem to get the pterodactyl, or to farm scrips so I can get pentameld, etc. Stuff that I watch a movie on the other screen and let miquo do the boring repetitive stuff

Thanks for the update with the screenshot of the Discord, I’m not on it and won’t be on it so I rely on the informations on the forum. Let’s hope that Miqo will be up again by the end of the month or early september ^^

Sadly I don’t think they implemented those skills yet, I also tried to get them but wasn’t able to find them in the skill list, and it was for the same exact reason.

A person from my free company told me that since EW, Miqo is falling behind the other bots and that I should try the other one. It’s just that I’m used to that one. I understand that the devs are from Ukraine and they have a war to deal with… but I just hope they’ll be able to add those little things and continue the developement of the bot

How does the diademBoom is working? My client is not in english, I tried to change the name in boomTarget for the name in my language, but it doesn’t seems to work? Anyway from what I see the english name is not the complete one too right? Everything else works fine, except the boom.

For reference, that is the chapter in the scenario (well, 3 occurence of it but yeah).

Well first when the Chapter 2 starts, it tells me this in the log. The character just start running on the starting island near the fishing npc and tries to jump in the empty but is stuck there.

Does this still work on 6.57? I have the same problem than the person 3-4 post before mine. I tried to make the scenario work but the grid seems to be way off…?

I had that issue when I started playing, and my way to fix it was to go on fullscreen mode : https://www.reddit.com/r/ffxiv/comments/17f6c3i/fullscreen_borderless_window_bug/

I didn’t know that miqo needed the windowed/borderless mode to have the overlay.

I just changed it back to that, and it’s now working. Also on the link of my other problem the guy told a fix and it’s also working.

So everything works now on my side.
