It sure is but if your gear is good, a fixed rotation macro will be more effective to be honest.

By more effective do you mean faster, or a better chance of HQ?
Solver needs only 18 seconds for 70***. If you solve for 20 mins you selected wrong settings.
What would be the right settings for 70***? And what stats would you need on your gear?
1:8, remove everything in CPU options but the 1st one. Got around 60% from 0 quality with ~460 CP so you may want to have like 6000 stating quality for a decent HQ chance.
That also mean if you want to build 340 DOL/DOH gear from the ground up you will be fine but if you need to mass produce things like pots/food/alc mats you may want to stock up HQ mats. And a lot of time as the bot will aim to do MaMa if you have low stating CP.

Ive been dominating the crafting market on two different servers for almost a year now. Using only crafting solver and no macros. Its funny that 70% of my income comes from selling 70*** gear and tea but ive never used either of those myself. People are obsessed with max stats and macros and its easy to make money from that.
