I for one just want to say thank you for posting this, no one can say they weren’t inform. Does it suck losing such a valuable tool, yea, of course, but it is the nature of the tool. Its built around another service.
But its worth it, from my own perspective, those 2-3 ish weeks at the start, meh, mostly gonna be slow cooking the MSQ anyways, so its not as vital, and while I mostly use the bot for combat assist, who knows what will or wont work, I’ve already be debating based on what may or may not work out of the box. And I’ll live until its back, i personally have managed to get quite a few things in “ok” order back when the bot didnt fully support some classes.
Dont get down, I know some may harp on it, I may have even seemed to in the past, but it was never meant to be critcal, more just, communication like this here, is what is nice, sure the wait sucks, but knowing the progress, knowing the plan, it goes so far to show you are thinking ahead.

I mean, there’s plenty of features in here already? The crafting and gathering should keep you going for years. And with the assist mode you are free to do all the games content with minimal effort. The bot is worth it for assist mode alone. At this point, extra features are more of a ‘nice to have’ rather than necessary. There is a way to do pretty much everything in the game with this bot. Yes, some things are not the most efficient, such as leveling from 61-70 and gathering latest patch tomestones, but you can still do these things! The bot is incredible, and considering how cheap it is as well… I guess as miqobot said above, some people will never be happy.
Not trying to jump on anyone that complains, just maybe you should think about what your in game goals are first before complaining about features. As with this bot you can do most of the content in the game, all automated. I’ve been using it since Feb this year and it’s just been revolutionary.
To be clear I wasnt trying to sound like a complainant or a nay sayer, I mean I work in IT dev and support. So I get the work load of it all. I just felt that combined with the long lack of updates and their recent explanation. This was the best place of any to ask about what the outlook/plans were for the endwalker dev cycle.
I love miqobot, have used it for years and plan to so long as its alive, just because someone expresses concern, does not make it a complaint. Asking questions for insight is not the same as complaining.
So, I hate to be that guy, but I feel it does need to be asked, does the miqo team have a plan moving forward beyond the expansion?
If you halted development simply due to support tickets, sure you’ll get the bot working asap since when its broken they will be no troubleshooting.
But it raises some serious concern about once the bot is back up, a new expac will mean alot of the functions will be incomplete or inoperable outright.
I love miqobot, it has allowed me to enjoy the game with my disability again. But I have concerns over the longevity of this support structure if you are unable to balance development with folks who cant get the bot to work.
