So i found what the problem was, the job change icons are on hotbar 9 and 10, and i had to assign keybinds to those to make the jobchange work.

This doesn’t help much since when i use “Use compass” to tell the bot where the next node is, it will still target the ephemereal node and if there’s no waypoints near that node the bot will just have my toon flying over it spamming use compass over and over lol.

The people you need to watchout for are the “Hunters”. They hunt A ranks all the time and if they see you gathering on the same spot for more than 30minutes, they’re going to “tell check” you. A simple “hi” or “hello” is enough. Why? it’s because they are bored lol.

Anyone can easily tell someone is botting using a gathering bot. Your character slides off the mount directly to the node.

The only safe way to use a bot gathering is to run it on a 2nd monitor while you play something else or watch a movie on the primary monitor. Keep an eye on the chat box too.

I was using a bot to bot the chocobo racing the other day, standing outside the Chocobo registrar and got tell checked. Luckily i was able to respond, She apologized after lol. Not sure why shes apologizing. But i’m sure that’s their intention.

Eventually the bot blacklisted the node, but thats when the bot gets stuck, as it keeps using the “use compass II” ability but the node its tracking is blacklisted so it just keeps doing the use compass II every 20 seconds till the ephemerial node is gone.

I changed it to use the use compass I, just waiting on the ephemerial node to show up so i can test it.
