    Has anyone had success with crafting the new master book stuff using the default recommended presets? What kind of stats were you at when you could reliably HQ the crafts? I need to turn on ingenuity, manipulation, and whistle, correct?
    I assume it should be better than just using a macro.

    Whistle is pointless on 70 recipes, ingenuity and manipulation is all you need. I was crafting non specialist gear at 1321/1221 from 0 quality like candy. Specialist took a little more investment but still not much. With 475 CP ive managed to HQ full ala mhigan set myself. Now sitting on 1401/1342 and 508 CP with food and i even turn manipulation off for everything but the final piece. Thats basically IV grade melds only. Still pops HQ almost every time.

    I am struggling to craft HQ 2 star 70 recipes using the crafting solver, on ALC i hace 1382 craftsmanship, and 1312 control, and 446cp before food. I use hq tempura to get 500 cp. my hq % at the end of each craft is alwayts about 10-20%, i guess i have the wrong actions on my hotbar, here is what the bot used for my attemps on ala mhigan fibres. Any help would be appreciated, i followed the guide on what cross abilities to use but i assume i have the wrong standard abilities set.

    Sorry for the shitty long post, not sure how to make the log into a file.

    You forgot Ingenuity at least. Id also suggest taking Hasty Touch too since it allows Byregots Miracle + Byregots Blessing in one synth. Drop Innovation as the guide said.

    Could you include a full hotbar setup for me please with all the skills you currently use. Having better success but still not as much as id like. thanks

    Sure here. Everythings according to upgrade stage 2 thread. Its for weaver so it has CS2. Others go with BS.
