No I didn’t look tbh.
I just literally went into full panic mode and posted, lol.
Lol No worries. If you’re new to miqo this wont be the first nor the last time you’ll see your Av try to flag it as a virus.
We are very sorry to hear about your issue, but this incident is not related to Miqobot.
There are no trojans or viruses in Miqobot application.
so, I got 4-5 trojan virus from miqobot the past week, I’ve allowed them, since I’ve read on other posts here that it’s inspected to do that.
But – in the last hour, someone tried to enter my enmasse account and my paypal account. the hacker had my passwords, but he couldn’t pass the 2 spre verify I got.
I’ve changed the passwords, and the google one as well just in case.
I did not change anything in my programs after I got miqo. and now I feel troubled…

I’m still unable to whitelist Miqo since once I downloaded it, Windows Defender just instantly removes it.
I turned off Windows Defender, whitelisted it. Once I turn Windows Defender back on, it removes Miqo when I run it.
I was having a similar issue, here is how I went about fixing it.
Open the windows security menu
Click virus and threat protection
Choose ‘Protection History’
Find one of the miqobot ‘threats’ and click allow.
Then all i had to do was redownload miqo.
Hope this helps!
This issue usually indicates that your antivirus has downloaded an update which introduced a new false positive bug.
If you don’t use third party antiviruses, then most likely this problem is caused by Windows Defender.
Even if you did not experience this problem before, it doesn’t mean that you never will. Antiviruses are updated often and each update has a chance to introduce a new false positive bug.
We highly recommend to report this behavior to your antivirus vendor.
In order to download Miqobot, you will have to disable your antivirus and whitelist your Miqobot application after download.
I’ve been using Miqo for over almost a year now with no issues. I was running squadrons when it randomly exited the miqo app. I can’t find the app any longer on my desktop (so im guessing it was deleted or quarantined). I went to download another copy of it – thinking I just did something stupid, and it won’t download. Says the file contains a virus. … I switched browsers and got the same thing. I don’t have any third party antivirus apps running . Now I’m a bit lost how to troubleshoot from here. Any ideas how to figure this one out?
Thank you for informing us that you’ve managed to resolve your problem.

Strange Crash and Unable to Restart Miqobot:
Miqobot crashed mid-fight, and when trying to Restart Miqobot, the Program’s icon vanished (As though deleted) and when attempting to replace miqobot on the Desktop I get an error reading:
Destination Folder Access Denied.
I then tried to place Miqobot in its own folder, but I then get the error:
Miqobot Application is Corrupted!
Please Verify that you:
1. DO NOT RUN two different versions of Miqobot at the same time.
2. Whitelist Miqobot Application in your antivirus and Firewall.
3. RESTART Miqobot after this.
I made sure that there was an “Exception” for Miqobot with the firewall and antivirus (I’m sure I needed to do this when I first installed), but restarting Miqobot gives me the same error above. I get the impression the computer still thinks Miqobot is on somehow? I figured moving the program to a different folder would fix this, but I can’t see anything labeled “Miqobot” in the Task Manager, so I’m pretty stumped.
This issue usually indicates that your antivirus or Windows SmartScreen has blocked the new version of Miqobot.

A reminder about antiviruses.
Since this is a new version of Miqobot, it may be flagged by your antivirus as False Positive because its signatute is not yet known. As it is stated in our FAQ section, Miqobot is not a virus but antiviruses are usually trained to sic at anything that tries to interact with other programs. Miqobot will make no attempt to fight your antivirus.
Please remember to whitelist your Miqobot application after download. Thank you!
Yes, this always happens with every new version release.
False Positive is a bug in antivirus, but since we have no affiliation with antivirus vendors and have no access to their source code we can not help them fix it.
