I am not pointing fingers here as i know some programs such as this can get a false positive, but it should be noted that this is picked up as a virus and is very annoying when used with Windows Defender.

Always has done and always will do due to how its coded and then packaged as a self running EXE.
Whitelist and be done. This is also stated in the install instructions found on the forums.
