You can make any hotbar class related. Character Config > Hotbar > Sharing. I have 5.
I settled with 4 out of my 5 unshared hotbars, 1-3 base stuff, 4 specialist. 5 is there as a buffer and for my collapsable hotbar macros.
As for useless skills, the only abilities î found were 4 progress abilities.
Rapid Synth, Basic Synth, Standard Synth and Focused Synth.

Hmmm… either I’m using wrong terminology, or you get it all wrong. I’ve got 3 hotbars displayed at any time / any class. Third of them is shared (i.e. it is always the same, for any class). The first two change as soon as I change class, which is why I call them class-specific. This is why I want to define 24 most useful abilities – so I can put them into 2 class hotbars of every DoH class.
P.S. Also I hope applying Ockham’s Razor at DoH abilities gonna make Crafter Solver work faster. 3 mins of “thinking” before 1 min of actual craft is but pain in my arse…

Don’t expect that too work, most if not all DoW/M have 3 full hotbars, DoH have 3-4 depending on specialist. Thats how it is.
June 21, 2019 at 1:18 am #13689June 21, 2019 at 1:23 am #13690Yep i have 5 hotbars that change with the class. Plus 2 shared. All 7 displayed at the same time.
I have 3 Main Class Bars, 4 Total Class bars (specialist and misc), then I use 2 shared invisible hotbars for Miqo hotkeys (class switching, crafting log, teleport, etc) and then 4 shared hotbars for other stuff.

It works already… though, I’m not sure if it works at high enough efficiency (at least 95% or so). This is why I asked: tell me what did I lose? Are there any abilities better that above mentioned 24? Can you show me any efficient sequences which rely on abilities not included in my list of 24?
June 21, 2019 at 3:16 pm #13701I’m using 24 buttons myself to craft everything in the game. Hasty touch is used for one character specific rotation with spare cp.

You’re on the right track Gray. I think having a good understanding of how crafting system works and what efficiency does goes a long way to optimize your rotations and speed. For example miqobot as an extremely inefficient at crafting in bulk or optimizing rotations, yes she can craft with 60 step rotations but ideally you’ll just use a solution with 24-28 steps for **** star recipies as example.
If you want efficiency I’d advise to look into something like teamcraft and making few predefined rotations for your own gear. As a wow goblin would say, time is money friend.
June 22, 2019 at 7:51 pm #13741I just had this weird crafting rotation happen.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~It used rapid synth twice and then had to resolve the remaining recipe. I assume just a bug? Hope Miqo sees this.
June 22, 2019 at 11:26 pm #13747Yea its normal. When solver identifies a mismatch between simulated formula and actual values it recalculates the progress part. Theres an explanation in the guide why it happens.
Hope Miqo sees this.
Eventually they will. Devs are heavily pressed with deadlines atm so they cant answer to every topic. But if you want them to see it right now you can contact tech support.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Today I had this nice rotation, which failed (it got like 5% HQ) since it didnt have CP to steady hand the finisher :X

It was a level 67 craft since I’m currently getting that crafter up to 70, even more was I shocked to see such a massive fail, I didn’t clean out my hotbars yet ^^
