    So when miqo is back up for the lvl 80 stuff few weeks after EW launches will SMN basically be unplayable since the class is getting radically redone?

    Yes, of course.
    Any significant changes to existing game content, like job rotations revamp, will not be supported until we perform a corresponding revamp on our side.
