    Heyho,

I’ve got a little issue with the Gold Saucer farming, I started noticing recently. The issue is, that whenever I have FFXIV in the background and I’m doing other stuff, Miqo seems to somewhat fall asleep during minigames.
It sometimes takes forever for Miqo to press the button to select the difficulty (so far I’ve only tested it on Titan). Also, sometimes it takes forever, up to 10 seconds while the aiming cursor keeps going left to right for like 30 times, before Miqo decides to press the button. However sometimes she has these moments, where she hits the button instantly as soon as the cursor hits the point she wants, how she’s supposed to.

This is pretty annoying, because due to this behaviour she keeps losing games on purpose from time to time or not maximizing the amount of MGP she could get.

It’s also not an issue with my game performance, because the game runs at 144+ fps, even while in the background (I’ve set the game to not limit the framerate).

Ah and by the way. I’ve noticed, while she’s aiming to set a difficulty, the Miqobot log sometimes says:

    (18:01:12) Selecting difficulty: Titan
    (18:01:13) Aiming at: [0.00%, 5.00%]. Hit: 4.60%.
    (18:01:15) Selecting difficulty: Titan

    (18:01:46) Aiming at: [0.00%, 5.00%]. Hit: 4.30%.
    (18:01:48) Selecting difficulty: Titan
    (18:01:49) Aiming at: [0.00%, 5.00%]. Hit: 3.57%.
    (18:01:51) Selecting difficulty: Titan
    (18:01:52) Aiming at: [0.00%, 5.00%]. Hit: 4.93%.
    (18:01:54) Selecting difficulty: Titan
    (18:01:55) Aiming at: [0.00%, 5.00%]. Hit: 3.97%.
    (18:01:57) Selecting difficulty: Titan
    (18:01:58) Aiming at: [0.00%, 5.00%]. Hit: 4.46%.
    (18:02:00) Selecting difficulty: Titan
    (18:02:01) Aiming at: [0.00%, 5.00%]. Hit: 4.84%.
    (18:02:03) Selecting difficulty: Titan
    (18:02:04) Aiming at: [0.00%, 5.00%]. Hit: 4.62%.
    (18:02:06) Selecting difficulty: Titan
    (18:02:07) Aiming at: [0.00%, 5.00%]. Hit: 4.71%.
    (18:02:09) Selecting difficulty: Titan
    (18:02:10) Aiming at: [0.00%, 5.00%]. Hit: 4.14%.
    (18:02:12) Selecting difficulty: Titan
    (18:02:13) Aiming at: [0.00%, 5.00%]. Hit: 4.93%.
    (18:02:20) [50.27% – Nothing]

What could cause this? It’s extremely annoying, since the profit Miqo makes is unbelievably low that way. A few days ago I made like 120k MGP in 6 or so hours, which is nothing. Considering, Miqo should do around 600 MGP per minute, she should have made over 200k.

This behavior usually indicates that you move the mouse cursor when Miqobot is playing minigames.
Mouse cursor interferes with the ingame keyboard evaluation module and prevents Miqobot from aiming correctly.

This issue is described in our basic tutorial on Minigames:

Also, if you are going to move your mouse in the foreground (for example scrolling through browser), we recommend that you switch Screen Mode to Windowed and minimize your game window.

Otherwise your mouse cursor will interfere, and Miqobot will not be able to push the minigame button. Unfortunately, there is nothing that can be done to prevent this behaviour on our side, except for code injections (and we have no plans for implementing code injections).

Therefore, please consider switching your game to Windowed mode and minimizing it.

Ah okay, I thought this only applied to when the game is in the foreground, which it isn’t since it’s in the background, but not minimized. Gonna do this then.
