Hey everyone,
So here is a long shot, I am somewhat new to FF14, especially the gathering and crafting classes. So my dilemma is from what I have managed to work out with Miqo, is that you require to know at least what you are farming for. I found the pinned topic for Gathering Grids which seems to point me in the direction on what I need to farm. But do I need to set up my own path?
Is there not one that goes through the level quest, or gathers based on level? If that is the case, is the thread that I can read up on that tells me how to configure it from the ground up? (Then I can create scenarios for other people to us).
Sorry about the wall of text, but hopefully it makes sense

Should have watched this; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=slE58aum3GMFebruary 7, 2019 at 11:04 am #10607That one is rather old theres a better guide in the help section of the forum.
But really you dont have to worry about all that. Just download presets from the index, click Share > Import and youre done. After you reach 50+ you can use scenarios until 70. I know some people were going to make automated 1-50 too but never finished it. Probably too much trouble for something that takes a few hours. Just download the grids you want and try them. And if you want to modify them read about 3d editor in Help.

Lyfox is easily one of the biggest stars of this community. Just look at the crafting scenario generator he wrote:
And not to mention all the grids, presets and scenarios he provided so far.
