    do i need both ability’s on my action bar ie basic touch and standard touch or will miqo use the better skill?

    Standard Touch does not make Basic Touch obsolete, as it’s not like you always have CPs left for Standard. Moreover, you are going to use Basic Touch even in lvl70 rotations – as a placeholder for Precise Touch, while Standard Touch becomes nearly obsolete once you get Advanced Touch, and completely obsolete after getting Preparatory Touch.
