If you are using the mod “Yesalready” turn it off. Mine was doing that with the combat system and once I turned it off it worked just fine. Also if you don’t have a slot selected like “slot:3” “count:999” it can cause it to mess up, if nothing else try gather by name and specify the name and see if it works.
