So I’ve been mostly letting my miqo gather up stuff in the Diadem and selling said stuff + what you can buy with the sky builder’s scripts.
Would I be better off trying to level my crafting classes to 80? I want to eventually get them there to craft stuff but I have a severe lack of funds at the moment. I’m also worried that the things I can do make while crafting at that level won’t sell very fast. Unless its exarchic gear but I’m not willing to camp the bell and under cut war people.
TL;DR: Not sure if I should bite the bullet and start leveling my crafters to start omni crafting or continue selling gathered/mined mats since they move fast and don’t require me to invest in high end crafting gear.
I’m doing Diadem, keeping the materials I need to make lampposts (gold ore, mineral sand, bluespirit ore), and selling the rest that I don’t need. I use the scrips from gathering appraisal to buy the 100 scrip dyes which sell for 15-40k on my server, and then I mine mythrite and dimythrite sand outside of Diadem to craft dwarven mythril nuggets to make those lampposts. If I’m feeling frisky, I’ll mind the wind crystals I need as well, otherwise I just buy them off the MB. I macro craft as many lampposts as I can, turn them in for more scrips, try to get the big glamours from the kupo tickets (casual attire coffer, etc), and then I use those scrips to buy more dyes, or glamour, or the skysteel materials needed to make the sky pirate glamour. I’ve made over 100 million gil in like a month.
So, I would say level all everything, or at least level the crafters you need in order to keep some of your Diadem materials so you can get even more scrips from it. 100 scrips = 20k avg if you sell dyes, 200 = 50k avg if you sell skysteel mats.
