setting character to 'do not disturb' while gathering

Saw a couple of posts suggesting doing this in order to further protect against getting caught. I understand it would prevent players from sending you a whisper and then they wouldn’t realize you are not there, but isn’t this like a giant red flag you are placing on your self. Before i had this bot, when I would see someone gathering with this tag on themselves, I assumed they were a bot…maybe thats just me though. Anything I’m missing here?

Any other suggestions? Im trying to pick areas that are low population and changing often. I have my mount set to mount roulette so if the same person saw me as the ran by questing they wouldn’t recognize me based on a mount.
