Yes there is: https://miqobot.com/forum/forums/topic/scenario-scripting-development/
Eta is very soon. Imo with this and plus combat feature Miqo will be complete and i can finally forget about my grinding life.May 13, 2017 at 8:58 pm #3082May 14, 2017 at 12:18 am #3083May 14, 2017 at 3:00 pm #3090I think that even in the case they are close to release a beta of the Scenario Engine, they will prefer to wait for STORMBLOOD to release first, so that they don’t waste time on building something that will break deeply in 33 days.
I was hoping to get Scenario Engine month before STORMBLOOD, to have the time to write lots of scripts and be ready for this expansion, but I don’t think it’s gonna happen unfortunately.
But, what I wish, is that once STORMBLOOD is released and the current version of Miqobot break, that we don’t have to wait month before getting a working Miqobot, what I mean with that, is that I would prefer to get quickly (within the 2 first weeks) a half broken Miqobot with just some old gathering features available, than to have to wait for 2 month to get a perfect working Miqobot.
The first weeks of an expansion is where you can make millions of gils with no hard work, and old basic features of Miqobot will help immensely.
I’m expecting the Crafting Solver to be broken for longer time than Gathering features for example, and I would be grateful if we could get quick releases of beta Miqobot each time a feature is fixed, even if it’s fixed in a way it doesn’t use yet the new STORMBLOOD features, and even if it’s not really stable yet.
And then I hope we’ll get the Scenario Engine beta during the summer, because like Lyfox pointed out in an another topic, I just can’t wait to be definitely done with any kind of grind in this game.
May 15, 2017 at 10:05 pm #3094May 16, 2017 at 3:47 pm #3095Honestly im just bummed at the lack of communication
by this point I would think we would have been told there thoughts and how development is going or whther it will be post or pre Stormblood. The biggest problem I have is that these features are present on other less expensive bots currently, but I like staying loyal to the one I have. But Now I dont have any idea of how long the bot will be down, how the dev team is doing with the scenario engine or anything. I mean what if it takes them 3 months to get the bot functional after the launch of it. Other bot developers have posts with plans and thoughts, some with eta’s. And were in silence about a feature thats been in development for a very long time. Any communication at this point would help.

May 16, 2017 at 5:09 pm #3096The reason I would want the bot to be as much as possible half fixed with its old features within the 2 first weeks, is because the release of Omega Savage is scheduled for July the 18th. Which means we will have plenty of time to finish MSQ before starting to raid with our statics, which means from June the 16th to July the 18th we have time to focus on something else than finishing MSQ, time to focus on making gils and level DoL/DoH, things where the bot and its old features shine.
I like that Square Enix releases Omega Savage late, not forcing raiders to rush MSQ, giving us time to appreciate the expansion,
so if we could get some features of the bot working, even not complete, even not free of bugs, that could be very useful.May 16, 2017 at 5:12 pm #3097I’m really hoping that we at least get a beta version of the scenario engine before the expansion so we can start using it and helping provide feedback.
I know how rough it can be to develop and encounter a large set back requiring months of refactoring code just to get the product in a workable condition. Patience is a virtue! It would be nice though for more communication even if its at this point a status letting us know hey guys good news the next beta is 80% complete only a few more things to go.

The delay of release is caused neither by technical difficulty nor by the coming of Stormblood.
It’s the incredibly high fraud activity that is slowing down the development process.The next Beta has been prepared for release quite some time ago, but at the moment we are overwhelmed with attacks from all kinds of fraud and exploit usage. Including but not limited to:
- attempts to crack Miqobot’s trial system;
- attempts to abuse our payment system;
- DDoS attacks of different scale;
- spambots;
- unfounded threats;
And it happens on a daily basis.
At first we thought these attacks would wither out soon, and we didn’t take them in consideration to our plans. But yet they are growing stronger day by day.
You may have noticed that recently we’ve managed to restore our free 48-hour trial, however it only increased the aggression from attackers. We don’t know who they are but they are doing everything to stop Miqobot from evolving.Under these adverse circumstances the release of new features will drive even more aggression towards us, hence we have to spend a lot more time improving our security systems. We still want Miqobot to be simple and easily accessible for everyone. And we’ve been working hard every minute of the past year to make it happen.
There’s still much work to do for security, but we are willing to take the risk and make another step forward.Miqobot v1.2.6 Beta will be released within the next two weeks.
We will not announce the exact date in order to prevent coordination of another attack. So hopefully we will make it through 🙂
May 17, 2017 at 1:42 am #3105As for the inevitable downtime after Stormblood, we are planning to extend all active license codes with bonus time, as we always do.
The bonus time will cover both the game maintenance and Miqobot maintenance.Also, we have to note that Scenario Engine uses exactly the same memory layout as all basic Miqobot features. It means that both stable and beta versions can be fixed together with no overhead costs.
May 17, 2017 at 9:02 pm #3114May 17, 2017 at 10:33 pm #3115Who would want to stop Miqobot from evolving? I can only think of the competitors. This is puerile and pointless.
As for Miqobot v1.2.6 Beta with Scenario Engine, this is the best news of the day, and it feels really great, because after seeing my ping going from 110ms to 180ms, I was quite depressed about this non sense new Datacenter location choice, if only SE could change their bad netcode it wouldn’t matter,… so new Miqobot Beta news is motivating!
May 18, 2017 at 8:06 am #3117Ugh 180ms.. Same boat man from 120ms to 186ms. They moved NA from Montreal to somewhere on West coast. At least thats what mudfish is saying, US West nodes are 5-10ms now. Literally around the globe for us. Tried a few vpns but its only 158 at best. I consider transfer to EU now but its just ugh.
